It was a warm, sunny, winter's day. Odd, definitely peculiar in this time of the season. It was, after all, December. The odd weather would definitely surprise anyone, but then again, the Earth did like to trick people, didn't it? Lure them into a false sense of security by giving them a few warm spots here and there, and then quickly pulling out the rug from underneath their noses as a freezing blizzard hits. But while it was here now, they might as well be happy about the warmth. For it would stay like this forever.
The animals were rather active today, as the winter's snow started to melt away. The odd warming confused their simple minds. The trees would be blown back and forth by the wind, giving off the illusion that they were shivering. And with each twist and turn of the branch, they would shake lose some snow.
Sparrows would chirp at nearby passerbys. You would occasionally see a rabbit or two. Even lizards and snakes could be seen scurrying across the freshly wet grass, though it was uncommon. The animals wanted to make sure to take advantage of this day, before it was much too late to be taken. Deer could be seen in herds, throughout the forest, their ears perked for any signs of danger.
No one would see any of this beautiful activity in the city, however. And while Liana wasn't technically in a city, she wasn't a forest. Rather, this was a lone village, with a small population. The 'young' she fox had come here in search of a friend of hers. At least, Ben had told her a friend of hers lived here. She would perk her ears, being dragged along by Ben.
"Augh, I don't understand why you made me come to this village!" the she fox would snarl, staring up at him with contemplating eyes. She would much rather be in a wealthier village, ransaking it. Ben simply rolled his eyes at her.
The truth was, Ben was trying to see if he could jog the she fox's memories by showing her the companions of her past, whom, unfortunately, all lost their memories as well. But Ben remembered the incident vividly, and would be able to transfer what he knew into the minds whom had lost it.
But considering how stubborn Liana was being, he was afraid he would never manage to get her to the ones she held dear before she had lost her memories. She would continue groaning, question Ben with a venomous stare. But he didn't much care. Anything to jog her memories - and strength - would be an A in his book.
He really wished he had been able to locate Ryuko Matoi, since she had been a major love interest to Liana, right beside Ben, but alas, his efforts could track her. So, Ben had narrowed his options down. Now, Ben knew Jeff, and all his other proxy friends, and where they lived, but Liana had already been reintroduced to them, and nothing had happened.
He had then had the option of visiting Lelouch and Suzaku. But, unfortunately, while he had managed to find out where they lived, he had not managed to actually find them in person. For it appeared the two of them had left on an important mission that Ben wasn't able to disclose the location of.
Then there was Iaza.... Iaza was someone Ben did not want to spark memories in Liana's mind of. Plus, Ben had no idea if she had been brought back to life. All he knew was that Liana had revived everyone except Dragel, so this could very well mean that she had brought back her psychopathic mother, as well.
So this had left Ben with two options. The Elric brothers or the dragonslayers. Ben did not especially care for Natsu Dragneel or the other slayers. They agitated him. True, Fullmetal agitated him as well, but his brother, Alphonse, was okay. So, ultimately, Ben had decided to take them here. Plus it was closer. And he knew how much Liana hated traveling when she didn't want to.
"Ugh.... I'M BORED!" Liana would growl with agitation, walking behind Ben and placing her hands on her shoulders, resting her head on her hand, and tilting her head some. This was an obvious sign that Liana was about ready to go home. Ben would let out another sigh. So impatient!
