Looks: A large, bipedal insect that has scythe-like arms. While its legs have claws, all ligaments have sharp edges. The carapace is hard, yet smooth with a dull luster. As a whole, the exterior is finely rigid though it still maintains action with ease while moving. It has large antennae that allow it to be aware of its surroundings.

Hobbies/skills: Skittering, slicing, eating, and other simplistic activities.
Strengths: While lacking in the property of having a decent intellect, Nexus has a nice amount of instinctual reasoning to be able to vaguely understand situations, hide in the shadows, and sum up the combat-readiness of opponents. Overall, he is extremely efficient in close-range combat, making short work of vulnerable enemies with grappling attacks.
Weaknesses: As stated, intelligence is minimal. While the main body is sturdy and durable, the limbs aren't; simple slashes and projectiles can easily separate arms from the joint. A few times, Nexus can incorrectly assess an opponent, as smaller prey may actually be more powerful than he expects them to be. Long-range opponents will easily overwhelm him as he is unable to attack from a far distance.
Accessories: None.
Special abilities: Even though the limbs can easily be separated and rendered useless, they can regenerate in a fraction of a minute. In a mere dozen seconds, a new pair of arms can be formed and ready for use. However, the state of limb regeneration is a moment of extreme vulnerability as it prevents Nexus from attacking.
Attacks: On unsuspecting targets, Nexus can grapple an enemy with his top pair of arms and use the lower pair to inflict severe damage.

Personality: Nexus is intellectually-inept, but has enough rationality to be able to understand the intentions of others. He perceives potential threats in a rapid manner and will not hesitate to initiate the first strike if given the opportunity. While hunting for sustenance, he will attack relentlessly in order to make a meal out of available prey. If he is not hunting, he will usually ignore creatures that he would normally deem as prey. In general, Nexus is not wholly evil, but his actions can easily be considered as such by many others.

RP paragraph: Skittering out the shade of the woods, Nexus looked up as he quickly shot a glance throughout the area around him, just above the tall grass. He was in the middle of a field, uncultivated and brazen with wild foliage and grass. Bringing himself back to the ground, he moved along, brushing the waves of vegetation past his side. Several moments later, he looked back up to see his location in the field. Taking note of the fact that he made it across the open area, he caught the resonance of another presence, further down, past a flowing stream. Acquiring his potential target, Nexus swiftly moved from shrubs to rocks in an effort to silently begin his hunt.
