Unlike Seika's, whose muscles are more prominent, Yuuki's muscles are similar to that of a runner or swimmer, with a lean but strong musculature. Her body is littered with scars, both superficial and deep, from the countless numbers of battles Yuuki's fought in. Her most notable physical characteristic, however, is the tattoo that was branded onto her back when she first joined with the organization. Her attire usually consists of a (very) dark gray tank top and light kevlar material, as well as pants made of the same light but durable material, and combat boots. Personality: Yuuki is the cool, calm, and collected leader of team Dragon Storm. She herself might not be the main strategist, but she is a quick and rational thinker, always ready with a plan, and with a black up plan following the original one. Contrary to her appearance, she has a rather short patience span, which her teammates can break to the minimum. More often than not, gets exasperated by her team's constant antics, especially when they destroy things and make their money bill rocket even higher. Yuuki's job requires for her to be able to blend in with her surroundings, and this displays Yuuki's ability in acting and creating a fake identity for herself. And in order to get close to her targets, she needs to know how to understand people and empathize with them. She understands that she kills for a living. Some people may believe that killing on the "correct" side will make them less at fault, but Yuuki knows that no matter what, killing is still killing. She still takes a life, no matter who she works for. And she's fine with it. After all, it's not a job that she can thrive in if she's squeamish about such things. And from experiencing countless bloodshed, Yuuki has hardened her exterior and interior in order to shield herself from any emotions that might cost her her life.
When her first kill happened, Yuuki suffered through PTSD, and has constantly had nightmares since that day. The battles that she has been through afterwards have not helped much, either. This has significantly impaired her ability to reason with the average society, because she just can't integrate herself fully back into a civilian lifestyle. All she can do is craft a mask and hide it as best as she can, and this makes it hard for her to empathize with others, because they don't know what she has gone through. "HOLY MOTHERFUCKING GOD!!" he yelped as another fireball came close to searing off his scales. Sure, he was a FireWing, and you were probably thinking, But FireWings are immune to fire! That was definitely true, FireWings were immune, but this was a fucking DEMON. They weren't exactly.... you know. Regular and shit. How did they even end up in this situation in the first place? Oh yeah. That guy. That day, he had been chillaxing at home with Enz Zziio (his gorgeous mate, might he add), comfortably in his arms. They were cuddling and everything! Then, some asshat who claimed to be Enz's childhood friend called Ryuu had suddenly appeared out of nowhere (and ruined his very nice smuggling, thank you very much) and requested for Enz and some other dragons to help defeat some kind of stupid demon dragon.
Just great.
He knew he should have just declined... But noooo, Enz had to accept. At that time, he really wanted to just burn the bastard into a crisp, but that would make Enz sad, and Xyl hated seeing Enz sad. That was the last thing he wanted to do.
He launched a high-speed fireball at Averon, sadly doing only minimum damage. Seriously, what was this guy made of? Thankfully, Avian, the FireWing Lieutenant, was able to dodge out of the way as well. "We need to burn that thing down!!!" the feathered FireWing shouted at Xylnthian.
Yeah, no shit, sherlock. The question was how. The demon was very powerful, constantly growing in power the angrier he got. And boy, were they making him mad.
What could Xylnthian do? Use his surroundings? Ok, yeah. That was the logical thing to do. He scrutinized the area with narrowed eyes. Ok then. Rubble. Giant stupid tower with beacon, and a dark temple. Yeah, totally helpful. Riiiight. What could he do with the rubble? Another fireball was headed for his group, and so he immediately leaped behind one of the broken sculptures. Where was Enz!? As his gaze swept through the whole area, he spotted her familiar shape inching her way towards the entrance. He wanted to scream out, do something at least, but that would give away his location. All he could do was just sit there helplessly. Enz! he pleaded silently, as they made eye contact. His metal eye was the only reason he could see her mouth, I'm sorry.. before she disappeared inside. Just as that happened, a pillar from on top of the temple crashed down, barricading her inside with probably no escape at all.
"NO! ENZ! FUCK--" Before he could do anything, something from out of nowhere slammed into the side of his head, knocking him from out of his hiding place out into the open. Oh shit. He was exposed, there was no time to get away. Shit shit shit shitshitshitmotherfuckingshit-- "Xylnthian!" Ryuu called out, and sent a slashing wave at the marble pillars above the demon, sending the rubble crashing down and burying the demon, thankfully saving Xylnthian from his pending doom. Damn. Now he had to be thankful for the stupid shitface who brought them into this mess? But it wouldn't last. They had to get out of there. But Xylnthian couldn't leave. He had to keep fighting. Keep fighting for Enz. He couldn't leave her.
His eyes closed for a second, and he listed sideways. The only thing preventing him from falling was Ryuu, who was supporting him.
“We have to go...” Ryuu said next to Xylnthian, his voice that of sympathy. “We can't get to her now... she is on her own, but we still have an obligation to make. We must make it to the tower and power the beacon. If we do not then our friends have died for nothing,” said Ryuu. Xylnthian hesitated, his eyes shifting desperately back towards the blocked entrance. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the rubble shift and move. Oh shit.
“Lets go! There is no time to lose!” shouted Ryuu. Xylnthian nodded, trying to push the thoughts of Enz to the back of his head as he followed Ryuu down the ruined hall. She would be fine. She was a strong and proud dragon.. she'd definitely make it...... Right?
As they pressed on, Xylnthian grew more and more worried. This feeling.. his gut was telling him that something was wrong. Something was not going according to the plan. The beacon was ready and lit, and so Xylnthian's group of ragtag dragons sat there and waited. And waited.
Where the fuck was she? What had happened?
After this is all over, we'll go back home together. Just you and me, Enz.
He watched as Ryuu took out a scope, before the dragon suddenly dropped the scope in shock. “NO!” he said backing up against a small pillar supporting the roof of the beacon tower.
"W-what? What happened!?" Xylnthian's face drained of color and he shoved Ryuu in his haste to race to the edge to get a closer look. There stood a crimson dragon over Enz's still and unmoving body, which was covered in crimson. B-blood? Xylnthian's heart shattered into pieces, and he staggered, falling down. "N-no....." he whispered, tears now falling freely from his eyes. How could this happen? They were going to succeed, they were going to win! His hopes had just been crushed... what happened to going home together!?
He snarled in rage and grabbed Ryuu's neck with renewed strength and smashed the other dragon into the ground. "You told us it would be fine!" he roared, spittle flying out of his maw as his eyes dilated with rage. "YOU SAID ENZ WOULD LIVE!" Ryuu glanced away guiltily, and Xylnthian stuttered on his words as they clogged in the back of his throat. He could feel a sob forming deep in his chest. He couldn't find any reason to yell anymore. What was the point? Enz was gone now. She'd never come back. He released his hold and backed off, choked laughter escaping his throat like a madman. Tears streamed down his eyes as he roared into the night sky, a cry full of pain and loss, a broken heart lodged deep within him.
A world without Enz would be like a nightmare... a never-ending hell where Enz wasn't by his side. There was no point in living..
His eyes, now dull and listless, stared blankly at his beloved's body as his spirit broke apart. There were no more tears left to shed. His mate... his love... she was gone. Gone forever from his life. He didn't even register Ryuu's heartbroken voice apologizing, he was far too gone to even care. The shock... this was just too much. He could dimly hear Avian's familiar voice as it roared in anger. His eyes slid shut and his head dipped forward. Darkness took over, and his body sagged, as if a once powerful soul had just left.
The beacon wavered and dimmed as its power failed to sustain it. The crystal turned black, and shattered as it dropped on the ground.
Time had run out. They had lost.
