Hair: Dark brown with natural blonde highlights that come out more in the sun. Is usually on the underside of her hair. Has bangs and her hair goes down to her shoulder blades.
Looks: Standing at 5' 5" 1/4 (She won't let that 1/4 go) she is a slightly muscular girl, but not very much. She has long legs and arms and a an average stomach. Kayla has most of the freckles on her face, especially on her cheeks and her nose. She has more on her arms and less on her legs. These freckles come out more in the sun. She also had blue eyes and dark brown hair. In her hair is some blonde highlights, mostly on the underside that also come out in the sun. She has a bit of any on her face but most of it is on her back. She has long fingers and nails, but hates to get them painted. Kayla is left handed.
She has a pair of panther ears instead of regular human ears, and a panther tail. She also has retractable claws on her hands. Kayla has black fur on her back and the back of her arms, but none on her legs. Her fur reaches up to the back of her hands to her knuckles, and is pretty soft. Her teeth look like normal human teeth but with sharper canines more like fangs.
She is usually seen wearing shorts, even in the winter time although she'll move to sweats by then. It is rare to see her in skirts and dresses, but only if they're long. It's even rarer to see her in jeans. She doesn't really wear long sleeve shirts but might throw on a shawl if she's wearing a tank on. She tends to wear black bottoms and can have colorful shirts, but they are usually plain. Sometimes she can wear her hair back, especially for sports. Even though she has piercings, she never wears earrings or and type of jewelry, even though she has some.

Being part panther she can see better in the dark if there is little light. If it is pure darkness she can't see, like anyone else.
She also has retractable claws, which she is able to make come out on will. They are just like panther claws, which can cause scratches but can't claw through anything like rock or metal. She can use her claws to climb trees when needed.
In mid air she can turn and land on her feet, being able to fall from slightly higher heights without getting as hurt if she lands on her feet. She can only fall 10 feet higher than normal without getting hurt.
Being a panther she has better hearing and smell, being able to pick up small sounds and conversations better as well as smelling good, and bad, things sometimes before other people can.
She can also jump about a foot higher than most people, and is able to climb trees easier.
Weaknesses/Flaws: She'll stand up for her friends no matter who or what is threatening them, which can put her in harm depending on the thing.

Personality: Kayla is a shy person at first, not likely to talk to many people out front. Most of the time she makes friends in class like Orchestra and other classes, and in sports. She likes to help people out when she isn't afraid to do so. She doesn't like to speak or play out, but also hates being ignored, most of the time. While she can play a lot of sports she isn't the sporty type, but she does push herself when running or doing other tasks. She is the person that finishes their homework first and tries to please the teachers. She rarely takes risks unless persuaded by her friends. Kayla knows a lot of random facts, some of which can be useful. She is more of a logical thinker, thinking through most of the problems and coming up with more ideas. When happy or super tired, she can act drunk and become immature. She doesn't like to cuss a lot, but sometimes might. If threatened, she'll either be scared or try to defend herself depending on who threatens here and her mood that day.
When with her friends if someone tries to threaten them she'll go on defense mode, standing up for them if needed. She cares about her friends even if at times she won't show it. Kayla feels like they are her responsibility even if they aren't. She likes to make sure that they are safe and never go out alone, although she has a hard time controlling that.
