Personal Info:
-----------------------
Name: Griffin.
Nickname: Griff.
Age: 30 years. Of course, this hardly matters to him.
Gender: Not applicable. But typically referred to as male, given his build and stature.
Sexuality: Not applicable.
Species: Griff is a synthetic organism. He is neither organic nor completely machine.
Alignment: Neutral.
-----------------------
Appearance:
-----------------------
Height: 5’9.
Skin/Fur/Scales, Etc.: His limbs are mainly constructed of an unidentified, rubbery material that could be referred to as a sort of synthetic tissue. The material cannot withstand hits from bullets, block fall damage or explosion damage but, because of it's rubbery nature, is immune to any amount of electricity. His chest, shoulders, stomach, abdomen and thighs are armored by a bullet-resistant material. It is tough enough to endure hits from bullets and amounts of highly concentrated energy for a time until being breached. He doesn’t have any organic matter or nutrition processing organs within him to be punctured, however, he does indeed have vitals. In his upper chest and lower left stomach are core mechanisms that push conductive fluids across his body. The conductive fluid carries energy throughout the platform, powering his cognitive functions. If any area is punctured, it will leak this fluid. The thick fluid, when it hits oxygen becomes a prussian blue and obtains a metallic sheen similar to that of oil.
Eyes: His photonic sensors are actually located where you might expect a mouth to be. They are 4 thin strips cut into the head that emit an almost pinkish glow. He is equipped to process the same spectrum of shades as the human but is also capable of using thermal or night vision. He is allowed a dynamic HUD that will display the precise amount of energy or “life” he has left to consume. The HUD will also display the strength of magnification being used at the time, his coordinates and his bodily status and can be used to scan objects of his choice, measuring the distance between him and the specified object, the coordinates of the object and running an analysis to identify said object by using keys within a large archive network. He was not built with this, but instead scavenged the supplies necessary and fitted himself with it. “Scavenge” being used as a broad term.
Hair: Not applicable.
Looks: A significant part of it was described above and assisted by the image, but I will try and cover any other details I can. Griff’s build is somewhat lean yet manages to remain broad. He is significant in height and will typically give off an intimidating vibe, depending on who you ask. On his right shoulder is a large piece of titanium armor welded onto him.
Other information: Griff is a part of a singular network that hosts his AI. The network provides data and information as he needs it and processes any new data by applying his experiences in which are archived within the network to form a consensus or opinion on the subject. The network will also occasionally loose fragments of data as the data ages. How much of the data is lost depends on how obsolete or significant the data initially was. This is a function similar to that of human memory. The network also possesses information the former company had provided the synthetics to work off of, meaning Griff still has the engineering abilities that his model were deployed with. Because the synthetics were enabled to interact with other AIs within the network to heighten efficiency, Griff shares the same experiences as the other synthetics of his model. To put it simply, they were all one. This network resides within a small spherical ‘server’ that also serves as a hard drive, meaning it can exchange data with other computers and servers. This means that he can transfer a ‘copy’ of himself to retrieve data or override technology as far as the system expands. While the ‘copy’ explores the system, Griffs original AI remains fully functional and in control of his platform. The server, in which he likes to refer to as his ‘soul’, is incredibly precious to him, for if it were to destroyed, Griff would die.

Specialties
---------------------
Hobbies/skills: Tinkering, robotics, synthetics and the like, marksmanship and swordsmanship.
Griff is a synthetic being, thus, he his physically superior to humans. He can bend metals with little effort and punch through steel up to an inch thick. This enables it to shatter human skulls with a well-placed blow and snap human bone.
Griff, as a synthetic, cannot die of many things organics can. This includes starvation, thirst, oxygen deprivation, radiation, poisons, toxic gases, organ failure, health issues, age, ect.
Griffs armor is bullet-resistant. This, however, does not mean that the armor is bullet-proof. It can withstand a significant beating from bullets before giving away. Typical steel blades are wholly ineffective against it, making him a deadly combatant up-close.
Weaknesses/Flaws: While being a synthetic being has its many strengths, it also has its many flaws that follow.
Griff can overheat in intense temperatures. If the surrounding temperature is hot enough to raise his internal temperature over 300 degrees Fahrenheit, then his functions are likely to fail.
Griff can of course, freeze as well. Temperatures below -30 degrees Fahrenheit are especially dangerous.
Griff has specific weak spots located around his body. Most of them are his limbs, where the synthetic tissue-like material is exposed. Other areas include a small area around his lower stomach/abdomen. These areas cannot resist bullets, fall damage or explosions, however, because of the rubbery nature of the material, are immune to any amounts of electricity.
Griff operates on a limited energy capacity that drains as he becomes more active. When this energy stockpile is depleted, Griff is forced into a stasis mode that will last until his energy has been replenished. A few examples include:
Griffin has been in motion excessively for the last two hours after having initially been doing nothing. This will likely result in a forced stasis.
Another example could be:
Griffin has been significantly active throughout the day; that which would be typical of him. He then strains himself engage in a battle against hostiles that would last for 30 minutes non-stop. This would likely result in a forced stasis.
Griff does indeed have an emergency supply that he would be able to use for a short time should he drain his first. However, this supply is very limited and does not have a sufficient enough power output to support him in battle. To put it simply, it’s no more than a last resort used to escape an opponent or drag him away to safety, wherever that may be.
Special Abilities: Not applicable at current.
---------------------
Personality:
---------------------
Personality: Griffin is a rather.. Complex character. He has his mood swings that vary from annoyed, to ecstatic, to quiet and reserved. His neurotic tendencies often herald trouble.
He is often high-strung and can easily be set off if the wrong thing is said. But despite his minor anger issues and occasional snarky remarks, he is really quite sweet when it comes down to it. However, although his heart may be in the right place, Griffin doesn’t always go about it the right way; He believes that revenge is a valid remedy and won’t hesitate to give someone a taste of their own medicine if they decide to step out of line.
Griffin is also extremely adroit with both his mind and hands. He adores tinkering with mechanisms and the like, enabling him to be able to fix himself should any accidents occur, given he is in possession of the required materials or money to retrieve them.
Griffin can become quite the chatter-box if he is boxed up in a specific area for too long a time. All the pent up energy has to go somewhere, unfortunately for the eardrums of others, it all comes out his mouth (unless the person(s) he is boxed up with are unbearably boring).
Although he isn’t inherently rude, Griffin is very candid. He’ll speak the truth, even if that truth is offensive or not what the other person wishes to hear (of course, he hardly knows better). Perhaps it is a good trait, perhaps it is not. That’s for you to decide.
Griffin can be quite sarcastic and mouthy if he’s in the correct mood. Yet, it is a trait that one can learn to love.
As stated earlier, Griffin can’t seem to sit still. He is constantly fidgety and is constantly on the move. When he is unable to roam to his content, he starts to break down. He’s like a child under the influence of sugar.
Griffin can’t seem to understand the definition of personal space or boundaries and often underestimates his own strength. If he were to look over someone’s shoulder to inspect what they were reading, he’d likely press a close as possible to the person to get closer to the object, despite being able to magnify his sight to see afar. If he were to grab someone’s shoulder to stop them, he’d likely end up hurting them.
Griffin is, despite being an artificial 'intelligence', a bit forgetful. He has a tendency to completely and abruptly forget what he was initially doing and often gets himself into unpleasant situations because of it.
Likes: Griffin treasures tinkering and exploring as if it were all he lived for (and perhaps that is even the case). He finds things such as ruins, artifacts, natural structures and humans particularly interesting and will usually try and find out more about them. Although he may not normally speak excessively, Griff enjoys a conversation or person he sees as intriguing.
Dislikes: Griffin despises greed and selfishness, instead, he praises generosity and selflessness. He mildly dislikes it when he is referred to as an ‘it’ or stared/pointed at, however, it’s unlikely he will call anyone out on it. Griffin hates dramatic people and can hardly stand them. He sees them as annoying and desperate for attention and will usually scold them for being such. He also dislikes busy and loud cities as he is used to and prefers the serenity of nature over the pungent fumes and obnoxious honks of traffic.
Fears: Griffin's greatest fear would be to have his freedom stripped from him, next to being used as a tool for one's own personal gain.

History: Griffin was one of many synthetic intelligences produced by a large company known as Orion. Orion was responsible for making advanced technologies to enhance everyday life and even support local militias. The company was well known for being ambitious, but when it publicly announced that they would be mass producing intelligent, synthetic life, people were uncertain. Possible sentient life was a concept feared by humanity for centuries, thus, nobody dared to go to such extremes. Their goal was to create synthetic organisms to assist in construction, combat and healthcare, intelligent enough to function without the need for human interference. There were three final models; the warrior, the engineer and the medic. Griffin was one of the later engineer models. Around the time he had been put to work, the synthetics collectively began showing signs of defiance, personal preferences to people and objects and even social skills. Orion mistakenly dismissed it as a bug imbedded in the network and rewrote the code. This only temporarily stopped the strange behavior of the synthetics. It was not long before the behavior returned and, consequently, in a far more drastic way. A synthetic reportedly attacked a human on sight, causing a sudden and violent uproar among those who heard of the sickening news. Orion hurried to explain that it was no more than a defect, rather than a sign of sentience and rebellion. Either way, Orion was shut down and forced to eliminate every last one of the synthetics produced, including any technology they had previously developed. The Orion scientist, Augustine Jäger, that had lead the research and development of the synthetics objected, protesting against the scrapping of the technology that he had strained every last fiber of his mind to conjure up for the past decade. He was dismissed, of course. Jäger, who was already a tad bit over eccentric in his own right, made the wonderfully mad decision to save his precious sweat and blood by smuggling both the core network and a platform off of the continent. He did indeed and made it all the way to Xastristan where he continued his work in an abandoned complex. Day after day he would work without end, tinkering and experimenting with his platform for as long as 20 years. He had named the synthetic Griffin; in honor of the fabled beast. Eventually, Orion caught up with Jäger and put a mighty bounty atop both the runaway scientist and the recovery of the stolen Orion property. Jäger attempted to escape, activating Griffin out of desperation, begging for assistance in retreating to lands beyond in order to escape the threat. Griffin, enraged by the audacity of the man, outright refused. Griffin left Jäger and fled to wherever humanity wasn’t, travelling the continent in search of a final haven. But no matter where Griffin wandered, the threat of being found followed. Eventually, Griffin grew quite fond of endlessly travelling and as time passed, Orion gave up the hunt. Now he explores the world freely without the weight of fear on his shoulders, taking up jobs as he finds them and scavenging supplies to sate his need to tinker with.
