Personal Info:
-----------------------
Name: Praetor
Nickname: Praetor - Pray or Prey (depending on the situation) Ma’am, Sarah, Mom. All these are names Izar uses for her.
Age: Pray’s body is 3 years old, while he mind is around 46.
Gender: Was female, now genderless.
Sexuality: N/A
Species: Synthetic humanoid
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral, except when protecting Izar from threats, in which case she follows Neutral Evil.
-----------------------
Appearance:
-----------------------
Height: Pray - 8ft, 2in
Skin/Fur/Scales, Etc.: Pray, is made up of an undocumented, almost grey, material. This material is both organic and synthetic, allowing it to ‘heal’, albeit at a much slower rate than a human, assuming Pray is still generating enough power to keep her systems functioning properly, and a nearby source of relatively pure metal. This material is also slightly tougher than human skin and muscles, however is still incredibly vulnerable to… pretty much anything a human would be hurt / wounded by, such as; prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures, harsh impacts, cutting (this requires approximately 20% more force to achieve the same results as on a human), bullets, energy weaponry, etc. The organic portion of this allows her to move much like a regular human, running, jumping, small acrobatic actions (somersaults, handstands etc.) but nothing like a contortionist or trained gymnast. It should be of note. Additionally, blunt force trauma, while it does have a reduced effect when compared to a human body, it has the added possibility of knocking systems out of alignment and causing severe and often critical internal damage, the equivalent of organ failure.
Eyes: Pray’s optical sensors glow a soft red, changing to a bright, vibrant green when targeting (focusing) on someone or something. While these sensors are easily see Ultraviolet and infrared, her mind is still only human. As such, she cannot see using both ultraviolet and infrared, the deluge of information confusing and disorienting. She can, however, switch between the two when needed, but only using one at a time. She additionally has access to a number of different programs that she can run, overlaying her normal vision, but most of these confuse and disorientate her further, unused to them and finding them difficult, at best, to deal with.
Hair: N/A
Looks:
~ Pray has two distinct and different looks, depending on whether she is in or out of sync with the material universe. Out of sync, she can only be seen by those with psychic powers, or some other feature that makes them… less attached to this plain than they should be (I̧̨͜n̡͡sa͏͝ņ̸͜i̧͡t͢͜ý, Warp / void Touched, etc.) Her exact dimensions in this form are blurry and distorted, to all but Izar, but to those who can see her she appears as an 9 or so foot tall silver / white silhouette of a woman, seemingly normal save for the height, that constantly seems to be watching the person who can see it. Even in cases where multiple people are watching her at once, each will see her as watching them and only them.
When in sync with the material universe, anyone, regardless of if they could see her beforehand, can see her, with the same clarity as Izar. Under all this plating and defense, rarely seen, is Pray herself. The mechanical body that resides under this armour is an almost exact, to scale replica, of Pray’s original, human body. A naturally athletic woman, but with a relatively immobile job, her body was only slightly more well toned and muscled than the regular 30-something. Just over 8ft, her body is seemingly crafted from something close to steel, the material several shades darker than regular steel. A minor design flaw in the creation of her body, the main ‘nerves’ can be seen, for the arms and legs. This are faintly glowing, almost neon blue lines, on the back of her arms and legs. Additionally, for some unknown reason, this body can feel pain. Pray herself believes that the body was originally meant to mimic humans perfectly, up to and including their flaws.
---------------------
Specialties
---------------------
Strengths/skills:
~Regenerative systems. Unlike most other sythetic materials, her body can repair itself, albeit at a reduced (compared to human) rate.
~Lack of basic needs. While she does require 4-6 hours of ‘sleep’ a day, she does not require food or water.
~Physical advantage. Stronger and faster than a general human, she has a maximum sprinting speed of 40 kilometres an hour (for periods of time up to 5 minutes), and the ability to deadlift just over 300 kilograms (this is the upper limits of her strength, except in ‘critical’ conditions. In such conditions (such as being crushed / in danger of this), her systems can overdrive, allowing her to lift approximately quadruple this (approximately 1.2 tons). She doesn't have the strength to throw something this weight more than foot or so, to ensure it doesn’t crush her. Additionally, using such an overdrive renders her literally powerless for a duration of 4-12 hours, depending on how long she was overdriven (30 seconds upwards to 90, which is the maximum time she can be overdriven.)
~Knowledge. Not as ‘intelligent’ as an AI or pure Synth, due to the rather limited copy of a human mind used as her main CPU, Pray can access a wide selection and storage of information, carried and contained within a larger and much more powerful secondary CPU, most of it pulled from the internet.
Weaknesses/Flaws:
~Izar. The pain of any and all wounds taken by Izar will be psychically transferred to Pray. While Izar will not suffer the pain of say, a broken arm, she will still have a broken and unusable arm, and it can still kill her (via blood loss or internal complications), and it must heal normally. While Pray has long since learned to cope (that is, use a broken limb normally) the pain of doing so will slow her down, if not knock her out. N.B. This is the most simple and effective way to take down Pray. Breaking one of Izar’s legs / shooting her in the chest will render Pray pretty much useless.
~Power. Her ‘sleep’ periods are used for recharging her internal power supply. While active / awake, she drains power faster than her internal systems can generate it, albeit only slightly. To ensure she has a safe reservoir of power available to her, she rests. This power unit is located in the same area as a human’s heart / lungs, and is relatively fragile and complex. A sufficiently strong blow or attack could destabilise and cause misalignment in this area, either causing her generator to stop, starting to drain her reserve power, or a short circuit.
~Her own systems. Thanks to the rather limited capacity of a human mind for processing conscious information, many of her on-board sensory systems are either unused or used rarely. These include infrared and ultraviolet modes on her optical sensors, ballistics calculations. This extends to the information stored by the second CPU, which she must search through to find.
~Humanity. Her primary systems, the ones copied from her brain, are just as susceptible to mental attacks and corruption as a human.
~EMP’s. She’s still mostly mechanical. An EMP would, while not render her unconscious, would ‘trap’ her. Her mind would continue to function, while her body would be rendered largely inert, a heavily shielded and padded emergency generator (akin to a CMOS battery in a motherboard), that ensures her mind keeps ticking over.
Special Abilities:
~Warp Skim (DISABLED). A remnant of her psychic abilities, Pray and move herself and anything in a small (5 foot) radius around her, out of sync. Called the Void by some, dark space by others, and the warp by others still, this… place, is extremely dangerous. Originally a defensive maneuver, it’s original purpose was to activate in a scenario where Pray would otherwise be destroyed / killed, and skim her across the surface of this warp and into a different destination in the real world. However, early on in her ‘new’ life, she was forced to use it to save both herself and Izar, while heavily damaged. In a split second decision, she used her mind to protect Izar’s, eating and absorbing the corruption and mind-breaking energies of the void. This left a permanent mark and anchor on her. While Izar was deposited back in the real world, she was entrapped within the void, heavily damaged. Eventually, she was called back into the real world when Izar was close to death, after being attacked by a group of wild wolf-like creatures. N.B. This ability is disabled / unavailable. The damaged caused prior to the jump combined with the extended exposure to warp energies has rendered this impossible. It’s here just for some background information.
~Null Zone. By expending a significant portion of her energy (6-8 hours worth), Pray can disable, for a period of between 30 minutes and 2 hours (or 1-3 posts, depending which is shorter), any magical or psychic ability, along with any object which confers these upon a wearer. This ability has a 35 feet, and affects everyone, Pray herself included. If she does not have the energy available for this, and attempts to cast it, she will instead produce a small, momentary pulse with the same range, that will, for a split second, nullify these powers. Any object affected is completely fine after the designated time period, but until then will seem broken.
~Void Riven. Pray, when she’s summoned into real world, is constantly at war with herself. When she used her mind and powers to keep Izar safe in the stint in the void, she was irreversibly tainted, part of her mind overwritten and decayed. More of a negative ability than positive, this can manifest often suddenly and with very little warning. The only warning, if any is given, is soft whispers, and even rarer, a scream on the edge of hearing. Approximately 20 minutes or so (or 2 posts, whichever is a longer time period), after this ‘warning’, Pray will begin to convulse and several loud tearing sounds are audible as her body is warped and strained, eventually culminating in several large wounds opening up in Pray’s abdomen and chest, completely devoid of anything, the wounds opening to nothing. Her mind is largely corrupted by this point and she loses access to her null zone, along with a sense of who she was. Her mind bent on damage, to the exclusion of everything else, and, she will attack the nearest person (usually Pray), ignoring everything else, even if there is another doing heavy damage to her. This single mindedness, combined with her lack of feeling makes her dangerous, requiring her to be killed or banished by Izar. If she is killed in this form, she will ‘respawn’ in the void after a time of 48-72 hours, with no recollection of the time since she turned. The severe wounds, while not felt by her, to limit her mobility and strength, to approximately ⅓ of their regular values, and provide an easy weakness, allowing for easy damage to her internal structures.

Personality:
---------------------
Personality:
~Pray is the ‘glass half empty and there’s a hole in the bottom’ kind of person. Watching and listening, oftentimes silently, from the warp, she collects information constantly. Even if Izar is in no danger, she will be running through possible ‘worst-case’ scenarios, and the best way to react to these. She makes no friends, or acquaintances, for two key reasons. Izar is her… reason for being. Quiet literally. Her job, both as Sarah and Pray, is to keep Izar safe. This overrides everything else, including her own life. Additionally, she knows full well that she will eventually be dragged back into the warp, and is unwilling to do that to someone. She is looks down at humanity, in general, mainly for the destruction of dragons. She sees it as a repeat of what humanity did, wiping out species for their own gain, or simply because they got in the way. Now, oddly, she has no qualms about killing, identifying, or attempting to hand in a dragon, if it posed a threat to herself or Izar.
Trust is a sore-point for Pray. As in it doesn’t exist. She has enough trouble trusting Izar that she is okay and can handle what’s happening in the real world without her, but other people…? No chance. Deadly suspicious and hostile towards anyone who approaches Izar, regardless of her daughters stance towards them, she will listen and watch closer than usual. This includes calling Izar using her data-pad, and warning her and informing her about her companion (via the information stored in her secondary CPU. N.B. Characters will not have information on them unless allowed. Even then, it will be superficial). When in sync, especially in the presence of others, she will attempt to unnerve them and keep them on edge, by keeping close to Izar, and things such as growling / snarling / hissing / threatening movements. Additionally, any physical contact, even light touches, such as on the shoulder or arm, will trigger her defensive behaviour, attempting to intercept and stop this touch, with as much force as needed. This often causes her to be chided by Izar, especially if the person was friendly.
Her warp damage is a serious point of danger, to herself and Izar. Unlike a human, who would be irreparably damaged by such constant and long-term exposure to the warp, especially in such a damaged state, Pray had a small advantage. Unlike a human, she could back up and over-write her own brain. She used this combat and destroy corrupted files (her version of I̧̨͜n̡͡sa͏͝ņ̸͜i̧͡t͢͜ý), and replace them with pure copies. Of course, she cannot fully purge her mind, such a thing requiring a full restart, which would be akin to dying.
Finally, and hidden from Izar and everyone she meets (or, at least tries to hide), Pray is extremely depressed, almost permanently. She remembers shreds of her past life, and pines for it. She misses the easier times, when she was only Sarah, and Izar was just her daughter. The secrets she was forced to keep, around her conversion and Izar’s past, eat deeply at her. She wishes for nothing more than to leave Izar and just… disappear. Submit to the warp, find some loophole that allows her to return to the real world… something. But everytime she does, she remembers what she did to Izar, what happened to force into a life on the run, and she cannot. She would never be able to live with herself if she was to leave Izar unprotected in a hostile world. This translates itself, visibly, in sarcastic remarks and insults, sometimes aimed at Izar, but more often aimed at others, and a deep hate of anything and anyone that hasn’t suffered the horrors and unjustness the world has waiting for everyone.

- Sync (small explanation) :
- Pray being 'in' sync means, simply, that she is in the material plain, able to interact with it, and interacted with, by its inhabitants. Being 'out' of sync means that Pray is currently in the warp / void. In this state, she can navigate the material world if she wills, but only in a circle with a radius of 100 ft around Izar. She cannot interact or be interacted with, unable to open doors or move things, but can use them to move (such as climbing up a ladder or wall). Anything beyond this 100 ft is a featureless white haze, exactly the same as everything else, stopping her from moving onwards.
