Strengths/skills: Topher is book smart. He is in his second year of college and has passed most of his classes with flying colors. He is mostly able to hide his emotions, which helps to make people feel intimidated by him. He doesn’t get close to other people, so he isn’t normally affected by their problems. He is especially good at math, which is his major.
Weaknesses/Flaws: He doesn’t let other people help him, even when he really needs it, which can sometimes get him into trouble. Topher can be arrogant at times, and will try to disprove what others say are facts, which sometimes leads to fights. His studies occupy most of his time, and he doesn’t have much room in his schedule for anything else.

Personality: Topher is very strong willed when it comes to his studies. He will redo things over and over until they reach near perfection. He gets agitated by other students quite often, especially when parties are thrown. He may look like he isn’t very friendly, but does care for his sister, Ella. He can be slightly passive-aggressive at times, but he tries to keep his cool when he can. Topher does best on his own, not relying on others for help. He doesn’t normally let other people see that he is self-critical, and very few people know him well enough to differentiate his true emotions from what he pretend to be. He wants people to take him seriously, which rarely happened when he was younger. He is very stubborn and won’t do things that people tell him to do unless something is in it for him.

Silence
He finds that it helps him focus better, but every once in a while he enjoys a little bit of noise.

History: Growing up on an island called Éphémére off the coast of Vetur, Topher was lonely as a young child. He passed his time staring out at the ocean, wondering what was out in the vast world, and where he would fit in. A few years later, his younger sister, Ella came along, but by then, he had grown distant from his family. He still cared for her, and would protect her no matter what. The village of Éphémére didn’t have all of the resources and books that Topher wanted, so when he turned 18, he decided to move to Xastristan to go to a proper college. Only a few months after he left for the tech capitol of the world, his parents passed away in an unfortunate car accident and his sister went to live with his grandmother.
