Name: Blade of Darkness
Type: Weapon.
Appearance: This is around 120cm long, a partially curved steel blade in a dark sheath. Top image is outside the sheath, bottom image is inside the sheath.
Materials: The sword is made out of a mix of Alaricks soul, darkness, and incredibly dense steel-like substance, which acts identical to steel, its just a bit lighter. Surprisingly, it's rather light, at around 1kg.
Thickness: 1/2 an inch thick.
Purpose: The purpose of this blade is for attacking others and defending himself with it. The weapon does have a direct connection with Alarick through the mans blood and, due to this, only this sword can be used to activate it's true form. He does this by taking the sword and stabbing himself in the heart with it.
Abilities: This weapon, not only influenced by Alaricks darkness, also has one other little trigger.
When Alarick stabs himself through the heart, the blade itself 'vanishes' and transforms into a shadowy scythe. This is approximately 7 feet long, with two twin blades at the end of the scythe, one being 3ft long and the other a bit shorter at 2'6. Energy Cost: No energy cost for this.
Limitations/Weaknesses:
With no hand-guard for protection, any other blade can easily swipe down and cut his hand.
This cannot break through steel without being sharpened by Alaricks abilities.
Heavily relies on Alarick to keep its strength and capabilities up to par.
Rather long and sometimes hard for him to move swiftly.
The drastic transformation only happens if he stabs himself. Otherwise, it's just an ordinary blade.
He can only stab himself once in the heart per topic to trigger the transformation. If he attempts it a second time, the blade won't kill him, but the darkness stored inside is already exhausted and won't allow him to transform.
