Looks: He is a long-legged, average Chinese boy, with an average build, and stands at 5' 8". He has regular dark brown-almost black-hair, with hints of acne on his face, and a bit on his upper back and arms. He has a very bad habit of scratching them till the bleed, as well as picking at other scars and scabs. His slightly pointed ears could get him mistaken for some type of elf.
As an Avian, his whole species are flying humanoids, with characteristics of both humans and birds (some more so than others). They are a subspecies of the species known as harpies. His family are owl avians, which gives him a pair of large barn owl wings that are capable of being tucked in so close to her body that they are invisible to the naked eye. When fully extended, his wings have a wingspan of up to 14 feet. His wings are tawny, dappled with darker brown spots above, but under neath they are a very pale color, with some dark spots. His wings are connected to his back, and sit lower than "human" shoulders. They also sit closer together on the back. He, like all birds in the world, has hollow bones, which allows him to move faster, and enable his wings to actually pick him up and fly. He has a tail where a human's tailbone would be, which serves as his balance and rudder when flying. He has retractable talons on his hands and feet as well.
His outfits are normal as well. You can most likely find him wearing some kind of hoodie, or some anime t-shirt, with a pair of cargo shorts and Nike tennis shoes. All of his shirts, jackets, hoodies (etc.) have two slits located on the back so his wings can extend through them. His pants have a hole as well, so his tail can appear. He likes to keep his Beats with him, and tends to wear them slung around his neck, almost always connected to his phone which is most likely located in his hoodie pocket.

Strengths/skills: A musician. He enjoys playing the piano and the alto saxophone. He likes technology, and used to want to be an engineer when he grew up, but that kinda changed as he got older. He enjoys watching anime and collecting anime items, such as t-shirts, key chains, little figures, etc. He can speak both Chinese and English.

He has hollow bones like all birds which makes her body lighter, enabling her wings to actually pick her up. This also makes him lighter, faster and more agile than humans. He has air sacs besides his regular human lungs which allows him to easily adapt to high and low altitudes, as well as enhance his lung capacity. His whole body will adapt to this change as well, just like birds. His max flying speed is around 40-50 mph.
As an owl Avian, he is capable of completely silent flight, as well as have night vision. His vision is incredible, able to track movement from a very far distance and zero in on a target. His hearing is also top-notch, also able to use enhanced sound elevation, so he can determine which height the sounds are at. He is able to rotate his neck almost 360 degrees with the help of re-routing blood vessels. With his talons, he is powerful enough to crush a skull. He can locate people by sound.
Weaknesses/Flaws: Alex has barely no skill in fighting. He is just an average joe who goes to school and hangs out with friends, but also happens to be part of a military youth group. He is a major procrastinator, and is honestly super lazy, with barely any motivation to get started on things. He is a sprinter, which means that he doesn't have much stamina, and will burn out rather quickly. While he will pretty much stop aging in his twenties, that doesn't mean he still can't die from deaths that other humans succumb to.
Special Abilities: Regeneration/enhanced healing, other people included. Alex can perfectly heal bruises, sprains, and cuts in a matter of seconds or minutes, but depending on the size, it could take much longer. It can also tire him out afterwards. Healing broken bones will take a longer time, but it can still be done. This healing trick can also transfer and/or replenish lost energy using the surrounding energy, but it can also sap some of Alex's own energy. Either way, he needs some sort of source in order for it to be done. Usually, he takes from surrounding living creatures such as grass and trees.
On himself, Alex's abilities work a bit the same way. Bruises and smaller cuts will heal almost instantly for him, and a broken bone can heal within a day. Lost limbs are something entirely different, Alex can't do too much about that, but he can at least stop its bleeding.

Personality: Alex can be described to be as a mediator, or an outgoing introvert, ambivert, or shy extrovert. He is difficult to get to know: private, reserved, self-conscious, and won't speak to anyone unless actually spoken to. Even then, he'll only offer a small "hi" or "hello" and go back to whatever he was doing. He hates initiating conversations, but once he gets into the conversation, she'll become more open and outgoing, and smiles easily. In his small group of friends, he can be considered to be one of the loudest and most crazy, and can't stop smiling because stuff. This also applies to asking for help. It concerns pride issues and self-confidence, because he's worried that said person will look down on her for asking a question, because there ARE such thing as "stupid questions". He cares deeply for her friends, but is a coward when it comes to things related to horror.
While he is shy at first, he's pretty curious about the world and always likes to learn more about it, but tries to avoid social interaction as best as he can. His parents, especially his dad, drilled into his head to "help people" and that's what he intends to do. He doesn't know how yet, but he knows that he wants to help the people in need. He loves to laugh and have fun with his friends. His friends are usually few and far between. The ones who make the cut become his friends for life. He can also get impatient pretty easily, and has a habit of vibrating his whole leg when irritated, worried, or impatient. This is why he hates waiting in line for things, and would rather just skip the whole thing and do something else.
When it comes to certain things, Alex is a major neat freak. For example, when someone doesn't erase the whiteboard completely, Alex has the urge to run up there and erase it as clean as possible. While his room is generally rather messy, with clothes thrown all over the place, Alex likes to keep his workspace as clean as he can, but it'll still eventually become disorganized again. When it comes to jokes, Alex's jokes are usually sarcasm. He's a good listener, at times probably butting in with his own comment, but for the most part, he listens patiently. He's also great at losing things. There was that one time where he lost his phone for about a month (or more), and ended up finding it inside a book.

History: Eh. Average childhood. He as born on a different continent, and moved to Xastristan at 6 months of age. He grew up with his mom and dad, no siblings. Honestly, there isn't much to say. He grew up in a community of Avians, and barely had any contact with any humans until he hit the age of 10. At the age of 13, his house caught on fire, and burned down, which took his family's life, sadly. He refused to go to an orphanage, and decided to just go live on his own because he could.
