RWBY (random RP)

First topic message reminder :

So. I'm ultra hyped for RWBY volume four right now with all of the info we got from RTX, so I decided I wanted to make this to quell my hype and keep the site semi-active. The RP will be taking place at the beginning of volume 1.(I'll go into more detail about this later.) So everyone shows up to Beacon Academy and then goes into the forest thingy to get put into teams. I think The RP will end when everybody gets the relics and leaves the forest. That way we don't have to worry if there isn't the perfect amount of people RPing to make teams. For this RP you will be making your own characters instead of choosing from the characters in the show. Now, remember when I said this RP was going to take place at the beginning of Volume 1? Well, I kinda lied. It's taking place during that time of year but it actually takes place before team RWBY joins beacon. (Probably a year or two earlier if you must the the specifics.) So, here are the rules for making your own characters:
-no silver eyes
-can't be related to anyone on the show
-can't be friends with/know anyone on the show
-no copied semblances/weapons/outfits of anyone on the show
-Your character can't know things they shouldn't know about events in the anime, both future and past.
-no spoilers (Unless everyone on this RP has seen all of RWBY, so say how far you are in the show. That way peeps know how much they can say.)
-none of your characters can enter beacon early/late (So everybody has to be 17.)
-weapons can only be a combination of three weapons
-names must follow color rule
-no names already used in the show

Personality: Azura acts much younger than she really is and can be described as cute. Her childish nature can get the better of her sometimes and get her in trouble whether it be stealing the last cookie in the cookie jar to pressing the big red button. She is morbidly curious and will poke and prod at things or people to get an answer. Despite her innocence she loves fighting grim of all types and will tend to make a game out of it, or really anything for that matter. She takes her games very seriously and isn't above bragging or whining depending upon how they work out or cheating in order to ensure her victory/better her chances. When fighting some might be surprised at the brutality she uses or how much fun she has killing grim, especially when she does all of it with a giant, adorable, and innocent grin on her face. She also brutal in how honest she is, simply because she doesn't know that sometimes the truth isn't always the right thing to say.

Backstory: Basically she was just a normal girl living in vale and one day she found that she really liked fighting things when some bullies attacked her after school. She stabbed them with pencils and was expelled due to the brutality of the bullies pencil wounds. Then she went to another school where the same thing happened soon afterwards. After her parents and her talked to the counselors it was agreed that she should use her destructive nature for good instead of bad and was put into a combat school. Ever since she's loved learning to fight and going all out and has dreamed of becoming a huntress where she could do whatever she wanted and kill however many grim she wanted and be respected and loved as a hero instead of ridiculed and punished.

I just realised that in the character sheet thing I had pre-filled out for the species human, which may have given some of you the impression that you can only be human, which is wrong. If any of you want to change your character to be a fanus then go ahead, and since that only effects looks and not anything too terribly important when it comes to fighting, you won't need it to be re-approved. As long as there's no silver-eyes, it's cool.

Personality: Liadan isn't the social type, at all. She hates loud sounds and being in large crowds, which doesn't make her much of a leader or a people person. She is quiet and reserved, but will step up and take action in a situation if necessary. She prefers to be quiet, which would lead most on of her being shy, but she just doesn't like to talk. Liadan is very introverted, so so won't really talk emotionally with somebody unless she knows them really well. (She still does talk to people, but just facts and ideas.)
Weapon: Naginata, Katana, and Gun(with dust bullets)
Weapon name: Angst Raiser
Weapon Motto: "If it's not Angsty enough, we'll make it Angstier!"
Semblance: The user is capable of creating tangible imagery to emulate their own actions with movements of their own, keeping the weapon itself as the only visible imagery projecting itself. Up to three tangible images can be projected around the user at a time.
Skills: Very nimble, strategic(thinks before doing), and quick
Hobbies: Walking through the forest, rummaging and scavenging for goods,
Weaknesses/flaws: Due to her being nimble, she has low defense and resistance to incoming attacks.

Fears: She fears being discriminated by her peers, and being left for dead. She also carries an irrational fear of dart boards.
Backstory: Liadan simply wanted to take action to a problem, instead of walloping about and waiting for other people to solve it,she learned to fight to try to solve it herself.
Other: She is really afraid of those dart boards, like, PTSD afriad.

Midia: You're semblance is basically another weapon. You could use that as your weapon and come up with a different semblance or you could keep your current weapon and come up with a different semblance. Since you might not know a semblance is more like a sort of power that someone has. Some example from the show are polarity, control over lightning, and a tangible after image. Also, magic in the show is not common, so if you had a magical marionette it would be some intensive plot stuff. Ozpin would be like: How did you obtain this magic, bruh?! (Well he doesn't speak like that , but the the gist of what he would say. FYI: Ozpin is the headmaster of the school of beacon. Think of him like dumbledore.) Luckily, this world is futuristic so you can have it be a sort of robot. There was a "shape shifting" robot in the black trailer so it makes perfect sense if you would have one. Everything else is fine. Post when you edited telling me your done. Oh, side note: do you mind spoilers?

Looks: Onyx is a muscular and tall young woman standing at 6 feet, with sharp golden eyes. She has mid-back length pure black hair, which is drawn back into a ponytail, with some strands falling loose. She has a very intimidating appearance, her features usually found in a slight scowl, with the eyebrows slightly drawn together. Superficial scars map the entirety of her body. The most noticeable scar is the long and jagged scar that crosses diagonally on her face. It crosses over her left eyelid, over the bridge of her nose and ends on the right side of her mouth. She carries herself proudly with an air of confidence, and shoulders tall and drawn back.

Her outfit consists of a black tank top, a durable and heavy silver breastplate, with arm guards and shin guards. The arm guards are on the lower half of her arm, while the shin guards reach from her ankles to her knees. On the lower half of her body, she wears loose, dark blue camouflage-patterned pants that are tucked into a pair of black combat boots. She has a small utility belt wrapped around her waist. Goggles can sometimes be found on her head or dangling around her neck.

Personality: Onyx very strict, with a fearsome and commanding presence, causing most of them to apologize for fear that they might invoke her wrath. She is also very impatient, disliking people who don't answer her questions quickly enough. She is extremely intimidating, easily frightening weaker opponents with just her glare. Even with her impatience and bursts of anger, she can maintain a level-headed mindset in battle and calmly analyze the situation to choose the best tactical advantage to victory. Onyx is capable of adjusting and acting on the fly to unpredictable circumstances, acting with precision and efficiency. She is skilled at reading other people, and conscious of her own limitations (however much she wants to deny it). As such, she takes her role as a leader very seriously and understands that sacrifice is a necessary part (but will not forget that each individual has a different impact on the world), and with her hands-on type of leadership both in and outside of battle, has earned her the undying loyalty of her fellow teammates. She cannot be said to have a "soft spot" for anyone in particular, but the most important people in Onyx's life are the ones who have pledged their loyalty to her. Once they put their trust and faith in her, she will go to amazing lengths to ensure their safety and protect their lives.

She follows the mottos "survival of the fittest" and "hunt or be hunted" and takes them very seriously at all times. She doesn't believe in fate nor destiny, and instead believes that you need to forge your own path, and fight for it

Weapon: Her weapon has two major forms: a large minigun, and a massive, 10-foot long buster sword that weighs several hundred pounds. Since it's so large, it makes it difficult to carry around which is why it is split up into multiple pieces of different shapes and sizes. The two largest ones, where the handle and part of the blade is split symmetrically, are stored on her back in a crisscrossed formation. A smaller pair hangs from a belt on her waist, and a couple of more oddly shaped ones are on her thighs, calves, and upper arms. Inside each piece, there is one single barrel, which combined with the 6 smaller pieces besides the largest ones on her back, forms a minigun with which she can rapid fire bullets at opponents. When all of the pieces are connected, it forms her massive buster sword which she can swing around with ease despite it weighing 800 lbs.

To the average people, or the people that don't know her or her weapon, it will just look like she is wearing many different blades of different lengths and sizes, so it looks like she is a user of many different sword types and styles. She could, in fact, use one of the separate pieces to attack with though.

Weapon name: Ragnarok

Semblance: Zero gravitation. This is the reason why she can swing her buster sword around with such ease like it's made of air, which it is like air. By manipulating its weight and decreasing it down to zero, she can lift all sorts of heavy objects. Her maximum is 800 lbs, so she can't lift a car yet. Anything after 800 lbs is additive, so if it's 830 lbs for example, it would weigh 30 lbs to her and so on. This gives the impression to others that she has super strength. However, she needs some time touching that object in order to activate her semblance.

Weaknesses/flaws: Her pride and stubbornness doesn't let her back down, and she will almost always accept a challenge. She hates asking for help, and would rather complete things on her own, an example being the last one to get her injuries treated no matter how bad. While she may be sturdy and powerful, this puts her on the slightly slower side of the scale. This way, smaller and more nimble, and faster people hold an advantage against her.

Backstory: Onyx was formerly a part of the group of mercenaries known as Revolution, with a younger brother and a mother and father. She completed the initiation test and was placed into an elite squad, a special operations division. From a super super young age, she was taught the ways of combat and survival skills. It was on one of those missions that she received her scar on her face, from a grimm that had attacked them from out of nowhere. This continued on for a while, until Revolution's commander made the decision to ally with Sentinel, a rival gang. By allying with them, Sentinel promised Revolution's protection in exchange for supplies and rations. But Sentinel betrayed them and backstabbed them, bringing other allied troops in and ripping Revolution to pieces. Many people died, while others survived, Onyx and her brother being some of them. They parted ways, and Onyx was discovered by Ozpin and asked to join Beacon. She was hesitant at first, but finally joined. The end.

Onyx: Technically I guess gangs are a thing in RWBY since we've seen Roman's, so it your character could theoretically be in a gang called revelation. Since this gang is not known of in the actual plot of RWBY let's say it's not very well known or they kept their existence a secret or something. Same goes for the other gang. Approved

Harley Quinn: What color does your name mean? (As a second thought now I probably should've put that into the character sheet. I've been too lazy to actually check other people's if they weren't obvious soo....I hope people actually followed the rule. >_<) If you name does mean a color that I just don't know of then approved if not, then change either your first OR last name to mean a color.

Ohhh, so it's the name as a whole. That would explain why nothing popped up when I looked it up. Approved.

The RP can now begin! I don't think anyone else is joining. Just make sure to start it in the ship that's going to beacon. That's where we'll all meet. Yay! This is around end of episode 1 but exatly a year earlier.

Wouldn't that then be forcing characters to be on certain teams?
I know you guys WANT to do Team ANGL and HAVN, but does that mean we have to isolate the character from each other?

WE'll make a separate topic and keep everyone in the same topic, 'cause I'm not being the staff and regulating for 2 different topics.

How about it's one topic until the teams get made and then each team branches off into it's own topic. Would that make sense?
