Personal Info:
-----------------------
Name: Jhonen MacAnndra
Nickname: Spot. Joe.
Age: Jhonen was born in the 17th century. (Earth Years)
Gender: Male.
Sexuality: Grows attached to people through interaction and emotional bond.
Species: Black Dog.
Alignment: Neutral.
-----------------------
Appearance:
-----------------------
Height: 6 feet three inches.
Skin/Fur/Scales, Etc.: During the day, skin. At night, shadows.
Eyes: Amber, with flecks of silver near the iris.
Hair: Jhonen’s hair is jet black, with flecks of auburn near the crown of his head
Black Dog: His fur is compromised of shadow colored as black with auburn around his eyes.
Looks: Jhonen’s broad and muscled. Skin is tanned to a light bronze, and he has a tattoo of a moon over the right side of his collar bone. He wears a black shirt and normal blue jeans, and has a red hoodie during the winter. When it’s the summer, he wraps the jacket around his waist for extra pockets.
Black Dog: Like in the stories, Jhonen’s dog form is roughly the size of a large bull. His fur is black with auburn around his eyes. Since his entire body is pretty much flat black, the only bit of color is his eyes- amber with flecks of silver near the middle, as he has no pupils in this form.
---------------------
Specialties
---------------------
Strengths/skills: Karaoke, lifting weights, working on cars, running, pranks, and mixing drinks.
Weaknesses/Flaws: He’s a Black Dog, which means most of his power comes from night or dark areas. He can still shapeshift during the day, but isn’t as powerful. Black Dog’s can’t cross rivers, or pure water sources that are flowing. They can cross oceans, though, as the salt water makes it impure.
EDIT: Attacks to him in his Black Dog form do reduced damage, 75%, unless it is iron and therefore it does more, 125%.
Special Abilities: (What can your character do that makes them unique?)
Daytime:
Forged against the Fae: Jhonen can contort metals and minerals that he’s in 25 meters of. The heaviest he can lift with this is 150kg.
EDIT: Simple, crude objects can be morphed in a second. Swords are crude. Complex things take time, like a gun. Yes, he can move projectiles that are metal and aimed at him, but he has to focus on them. This means that he has to know he’s being shot at, and he can’t just stop the momentum in one go. He can deflect it easier than stop it. Spears, on the other hand, are slower. He can stop those mid-air and redirect them. Objects over his weight capacity can only be manipulated.
Senses of the Dog: He can hear/smell/see as well as a wolf.
Ear to the Tracks: Standing still, he can sense those moving on the earth around him.
EDIT: He can only sense within 30 meters of his body. He must remain perfectly still to do this.
True to form: He can transform to a weaker version of his nighttime form during the day.
Nighttime:
EDIT: In his Black Dog transformation, Jhonen cannot use his Daytime ability of manipulating metal. Since he’s a shadow dog, he can still take damage at night. This damage is reduced to about 75%, since he is stronger at night.
Dark Howl: The Black Dog howls, summoning five necrotic wolves to fight with him. These wolves mimic his abilities, but are weaker in power. During the day, he can only summon two. The dogs can be killed with iron, but injured with anything else. If wounded enough (Multiple broken bones, etc.) then they will return where they came. Each wolf is a normal sized Dire Wolf. The bites from these wolves are infectious. EDIT: The result of the infections are dizziness, nausea, and lethargy.
Impure: The ground the Black Dog walks over is corrupted, and others that walk over it fall into a 6ft deep trench. The ground becomes dry and cracked, the only visible change in the earth.
EDIT: The ground he walks over is corrupted. The depth is 6ft and the width is 4ft. He can only corrupt 50ft worth of ground.
Unholy Ground: Howling, the Black Dog corrupts the earth around him (46m). The pack goes underground, burrowing to follow the target and surprise them from underground.
EDIT: The dogs can only go to a depth of 6ft. Unholy ground is stagnant. There can be two patches of Unholy Ground, and when the third patch is made, the first disappears.

Personality:
---------------------
Personality: Jhonen is quiet until drunk. After that, he’s loud and rancorous. He prefers to be alone when working on cars or working out, but loves a good bout of Karaoke. He’d be the guy to silently stare down a bully that was teasing a young woman, or beat the shit out of a guy who tried to take something from him. At the same time, he had tea parties with his mother as a child. He’s got a slight Scottish accent, which makes singing “Be a Man” harder due to the double oo’s.
Likes/Hobbies: Working on cars, lifting weights, singing, running, and his job.
Dislikes: Water, super enclosed spaces (His cars don’t have a top, or have a removable one), murderers, and people who pretend to have the ability to sing but sound like a Japanese person at the mic.
Fears: Claustrophobia and Hydrophobia

Family:

Parents: Donaidh MacAnndra and Brion MacAnndra (Deceased.)
Mate: No.
Offspring: No.
Relative: No.
Brothers/sisters: Solamh Tulach (Deceased)

History:
Black Dogs were considered malevolent beings who were portents of death in the country of Scotland. In reality, they service as grim reapers that guided souls of the dead to the afterlife. Back home, this is what Jhonen’s family did. By the rise of the Scottish empire, there were many souls that needed carting to the gates of the afterlife.
Jhonen was the black sheep. All he wanted was to be free. After a century of working in the family business, he got his wish. His older brother took the mantle of Black Dog, meaning that he was free to walk out of Scotland. Solamh warned him that he couldn’t return without taking the mantle as well. Taking his exile hand in hand with being disowned, Jhonen traveled the world. This lead him to doing the Reaper’s job in many places, creating myths like “Old Red-eyes”, “Moddey Dhoo”, and “Cŵn Annwn”. His family is tied deeply with the Fae and Sylvans.

RP paragraph:
“Hey, hand me that wrench.”
The figure beneath the car stared up at his visitor, a young lady who wore yoga pants and a sweater. Rolling her eyes, she reached for the one that he had pointed at, tossing it to him before going back to playing on her phone.
Sighing, the man took the oil stained tool and began to work on replacing the cunt’s oil filter and let the excess drip into the pan he set below it. Disgust twisted his face, as a slow drip of congealed black almost liquid slopped into the pan. Of course she hadn’t brought her car into the maintenance bay. The condition of the engine was so bad that no mechanic would be crazy enough to deal with it. Jhonen wasn’t just any mechanic, though. Putting a hand on the bottom of the engine block, he closed his eyes before carefully contorting the metals to squeeze out the now detrimental ooze, carefully reshaping them to proper form after the black stuff was expelled. With the oil pan full of the disgusting gelatinous oil, he put the new filter into place before locking the ties with the wrench once more.
“Ma’am, you know how to check your oil, right?”
The question was meant as polite conversation. Talking with the woman was much more than he wanted to truthfully do, but Jhonen felt as though he should defend the car. How this cunt was treating it was a travesty.
“Uh. Duh? You pour it over the engine.”
Jhonen stared at the woman in awe. It explained the black gunk that covered the engine. It just didn’t make sense to the man how someone could be so stupid.
“No. You pour it into the engine after opening the cap that says ‘Oil In.”
Before she responded, he turned away to fill her engine with 5w40. Christ Almighty, this was awful. Going behind his counter, he tallied up the cost.
“Alright. That’ll be forty dollars even.”
The woman gave him a shocked face, one that let him see the gum she had been smacking her lips on for so Christ damned long. “No way! That’s like, way too expensive. I’ll pay you twenty, and no more.”
Jhonen gripped the mouse he was using, a crunching noise letting the cunt know that it was nothing more in his hand. Her eyes widened as he stared at her, confirming that the threat was across. The frat girl handed the money over before bolting to her car, not waiting for the ten dollars of change he technically owed her.
A smile appeared on Jhonen’s face, as he bent down to the box of cheap computer mice to replace his broken one.
