Particular Interactions (Private Lorne)

Today had been a bad day.

Keskorie wasn't happy, the mission she sent herself on had failed. She knew why, and at that was even more annoyed. The thing was to fast for her to properly aim at, and she was probably just lucky that it hadn't came and attacked her. At least then she could have stabbed it with her sword.

Even if she'd get in trouble for drinking in public, she did it anyways. Kes picked up a bottle of bourbon and was currently leaning against a tree drinking it. If the police were afraid that she was going to share it with some minors then they'd be dead wrong. No one was touching her booze. Korie almost debated leaving to go to a bar so she could just forget about earlier and her mistakes.

And now she really wanted to leave. Her bottle was light and empty and she didn't feel drunk enough yet. The pirate threw her bottle in the trash, giving the looks others were giving her right back. She didn't feel like dealing with their shit, and the quicker she left for a more suitable place the better.

(I wasn't sure if Lorne would be in a bar so here we are bleh this is so bad sorry XD)

Lorne (dressed normally for once) casually walked down through the pathways of the park. Although, it wasn't as lush and beautiful as the plants and gardens from his home planet, he did still appreciate the beauty of what the gardeners had tried to capture. He would have recommended moving a few plants either left or right while they were being planted, but sadly, time for that was gone and the plants were far too big to move.

His eyes caught a rather frustrated person walking on the path ahead of him, and a frown creased on his face.

The way the female threw the glass bottle into the trash was a clear indicator to Lorne that she really really was in a bad mood. However, he kept walking and, on the way past her, he would flash her a sad smile. "Bad day?" Lorne asked rather casually to her, his hand slipping across to half take a hold of her arm to stop her from just laughing at him and leaving.

Kes kept walking even as someone attempted to flash her a smile and talk to her. She would have just rolled her eyes and walked away in he hadn't have caught her arm in his grasp. The princess jerked her arm back, glaring at the new person. "Don't touch me!" she yelled, "Even if you don't know who I am, you shouldn't touch a pissed off person." If she hadn't already taken her arm out of his grasp, she pulled away harder and glaring at him again began to angrily walk away again.

Lorne smirked, allowing her to pull away before he began to follow her with a shrug. "So, a gorgeous girl playing hard to get. Well, I was gonna offer to get ya a drink, ya seem to need one." He said rather easily, not too phased that she decided to try and get rid of him by pulling away from him. Telling him to leave a pissed off person alone. Now that he thought about it, he somewhat guessed that he would have done the same in her circumstances.

Maybe. He didn't actually know. He was pretty fine with people doing that to him.

Unless he was on a job, then he wouldn't be too impressed with people grabbing him. It normally meant he had failed and was about to be either tortured or punished in some way. However, he didn't really know too much. Not that it mattered.

"Come on, let me take ya for a drink, just chill a little. Besides, a scowl doesn't suit such a beautiful face." Lorne offered, tying in his compliment with ease. He really needed to stop with the whole flirtatious thing.

Keskorie hesitated a bit when he mentioned getting her a drink. Getting things for free would be nice, especially when alcohol tended to be more expensive, and even more so when you wanted the strong stuff. She thought for a second before turning back to face him. "Fine, I'll let you buy me a drink. Where at?" she asked, turning her face into a 'whatever' kind of smile at his last remark.

She still wasn't entirely pleased, but free drinks and compliments weren't too bad. It helped that the person giving them didn't look too bad either.

"And you know, it might be nice to exchange names. I'm Keskorie, how about you?" the woman inquired, standing by him ready to be lead off to a bar. She hoped it was going to at least be a nice one.

Lorne flashed her a grin, before inclining his head respectfully. "I know of a bar nearby, it's a little bit backwater, however, the drinks are well worth the rather dismal colourations of the place. Expensive, but damn, even for me the stuff is strong." Lorne explained easily, a small shrug jerking at his shoulders.

"The names Lorne, and I'm... Well, maybe I'll tell ya. But I'm not exactly human. It's a pleasure to meet ya Keskorie. Ya're a beauty, in all honesty, but don't worry, I'm more worried about what's bothering ya." Lorne spoke easily, leading Kes to an older looking building. His hand raised, pushing the door open. There, he would hold it open for her to enter if she still wanted to have a few free drinks.

"Also, sit by the bar, booths are... questionable." Lorne said meaningfully, leading her to the bar. The seats were rather simple, but behind that bar, she could see rows upon rows of alcohol, ranging from things which would throw a man straight into being drunk to something so weak it wouldn't even influence a mouse to be drunk. The bar was brightened with LED strips from the ceiling, hanging low.

He pulled one of the chairs back for her to sit on, almost knocking into one of the strips. "Do ya enjoy strong alcohol?"

Light effects of the alcohol were hitting her, but it wasn't nearly enough for what she wanted. Maybe she wouldn't care about how the bar looked as long as they did serve these strong drinks that the man mentioned. She probably wouldn't even remember the bar after tonight, as long as they kept serving her. If not, she might as well go back to her base and drink from there. Kes let him lead, listening as he continued to chat. "Well Lorne, it's nice to meet you," she replied, slightly ignoring the other half of his comment. She already knew she was a beauty, and have had plenty of men, especially men that were a lot less attractive than he was, hitting on her a lot harder than he was. But then again, that could be because he wasn't trying very hard, especially with him wanting to know what was bothering her. It almost made her wonder why he even cared about a random person such as her.

The building it seemed he was taking her to looked rather old, but still nicer than a few of the places she had been before. She stepped through the door with a small nod of thanks to her escorter. The inside was nothing fancy, but at least it looked relatively clean. It may have been a bit cheap with the LED lights hanging from the ceiling, but at least they had a damn good selection of alcohol by the looks of it. "Something strong sounds so good right now..." she commented, taking a seat. At the moment, she could care less what exactly it was she was going to get served, but that it was something that actually got her drunk.

Lorne nodded, a smirk half plastered on his face. For a few moments, he would wonder just what kind of alcohol this lady would be able to handle before she went down. He excused himself and walked across to the bar. "Two of ya finest drinks, and don't ya hold back." He said with a grin, throwing the cash across the table to pay for the drinks. A few minutes would pass before he would finally have the tall tankards filled with powerful mixes of alcohol. Nodding to show his thanks, he went back over to the lady and slid the orange coloured drink across to her.

"Take it slow, don't want ya to have too much too quickly." He mumbled, before taking a seat opposite to her. He would wait a few moments, trying to judge if the female even planned to tell him what bothered her.

Kes lazily watched as he went off to get them drinks. If only the drinks could come out any faster, then she'd be satisfied. The few minutes felt like hours- but she could be exaggerating there. While she waited she glanced around the bar, her eyes narrowing at the sight of a few certain people. Those bastards! They should have known it was hers, and should have known better than to scare it off. If it wasn't for Lorne coming back she would have gone off and impaled them with her sword.

The pirate quickly grabbed her drink, ready to guzzle it but reluctantly taking his advice. She took a sip, ignoring the burn as she glanced back over at the group. Three men, rather burly, one armed with two swords while the other held a shotgun. The third seemed rather unarmed, but he could have stuff hidden- like herself. She scoffed, turning back to Lorne. "Just look at them, the audacity! Those three assholes totally ruined my mission- that foenix was mine, and he was worth a lot too. Then they just come trampling through the forest like a heard or elephants." Angrily, she took a bigger sip, coughing a little as some tried to go down her windpipe. "I'd just like to see this place painted in their blood," she growled, concentrating on taking small sips with this drink. Her anger distracted her from the burn of the drink, looking at the group again. The one with the shotgun had left, presumably to go to the bathroom if she had to guess. Maybe they could take the two out and deal with the third later. Or she could take them out, who knows if the male would even consider joining her in murdering them. They had been running after the creature before she could get to them, and it wouldn't have been great for her to take on the three at once, but she was sure she could handle two. Or maybe it was just the alcohol talking.
