Everything was scary and he wanted OUT. Waaaay to many hoomans had been near him, and he had just managed to bolt away from them. It was roughly high noon and he had made quite some distance from the hoomans, and felt generally safe and slowing down under a tree. Panting, he quickly plopped down in the brush. It was too hot to be exerting so much effort with no reward. His chest rose and descended with each forceful exhale of hot breath as he cooled and calmed himself. After catching his breath, he peered around, not seeing any signs of the hoomans. Part of him wanted to climb into the tree and hide until night, but his stomach said no. Luckily for him, there was a berry bush right next to the tree, with the wind blowing at his back. Happy to get some liquid and food in his gullet, Shudaar got himself up and approached the bush, sniffing it and gently pulling the berries off with teeth retracted. No one wanted to eat a squished berry, and when not squished, he got all the yummy juice! Munching on his 8th berry, his snout bumped into something fuzzy and moist. Blinking and tilting his head, he saw a large fuzzy brown creature rise on its hind legs, sharp black claws on its two limbs. As it roared at him, Shu managed to half turn to flee before one of the massive claws smashed into his right side, launching him. The impact sent him spiraling in the air, a tree trunk catching him solidly with a smack and crack. Sharp pain flared in his side from the swipe and his right wing, which took the tree's impact. Yowling in pain as he crumpled at the base of the tree, he only had enough time to look up and see the brown creature charging him on all four paws.

A black figure would leap across the open ground to the right the small dragon, its four paws thundering against the soft grass. Its jaw was wide open, a growl tearing through its throat. With an extremely well timed jump, the foenix would leap and slam its weight into the bears shoulder. It would then leap back away if the creature tried to retaliate. However, Nithya wouldn't falter and would keep pressuring it away from the small hunched creature by the tree.
"Go Nithya, keep that thing back!" Lexia shouted as she ran, skidding to a halt next to the tree.
Lexia, for her part, would kneel down next to the creature, her fingers curling around a blood stone. If she needed, she would help her pet, but for now, she figured Nithya could keep the beast away from them. Slowly she would raise a hand to the dragon. It was obvious as to its injuries, and the very sight of them made her wince. It surely wouldn't be in a good way... "Hey little one, are you alright?" Lexia asked quietly, her hand moving to touch the wing with a feather like touch.

Aero, after noticing the little dragon left, went to follow him in ignorance of the others around. They were just annoying anyways, and the dragon was much more important. She continued in the direct of which she thought he went, hoping she'd soon come up on him. He was a baby at least, and wouldn't be able to go all day. At least she couldn't when she was a child. Roars in the distance made her run faster, and even if she hadn't experienced much running in this form the adrenaline was surely keeping her going.
She skidded to a stop when she say the scene. Her chest rising and falling rapidly she took in what she could while catching her breath. A big bear was being fought off with a smaller black creature. By the base of a tree was a human, and Aero was sure she saw a bit of gray that belonged to something else. Was that human hurting the dragon? Aero growled, glancing a bit at the distracted bear before yelling at the human "What are you doing with that thing?" She took a few steps forward, making sure she'd be able to dodge the bear if needed, and wondering if she could fight the other human if needed.

The pain that was taking over his entire right side was blinding him, as all Shudaar saw was some black object bound in front of the fuzzy creature, and the fuzzy brown blob followed it off. Each breath hurt tremendously, feeling like his right side was lit on fire and dumped into molten metals. Another blurry thing approached, and a warbly hiss came from his maw to warn the creature off, however pathetic it was. Shudaar squirmed as he tried to roll off to not keep his belly exposed, but was sort of stuck. His head throbbed to the point where words were just sounds without meaning, and whatever the creature was that was near him was saying was ignored, until it reached out and touched his snapped wing. Even though the touch was gently, it felt like an iron rod was slammed against his very bone. Crying out at the touch, he managed to roll to his feet somewhat, but his right side collapsed. Sparks started surging across his body, and several seconds later, electricity would go out, mainly at the tree as he was terrible at aiming, but little bits would fly in most directions for 5 or so feet, before laying quietly whimpering.
The bear was knocked off course from the tackle, and let out a bellowing challenge to the foenix. Standing on its hind legs, it would attempt to crush the pesky creature as it came down, swiping left and right at it as it would dodge around. The bear would charge the foenix until the other human entered the area, but that only briefly helds its attention before it saw sparks of light. Whatever it was on HIS territory, it would die. The bear let out another bellowing challenge, before charging at Lexia.

Nithya was quick on his feet, leaping backwards to ensure that he wouldn't be crushed by a pile of fur and fat. He would duck under the blow from his left, skittering backwards to avoid more swipes. The foenix didn't exactly want or appreciate a face full of claws.
Lexia would take her hand away from the small black thing, who screeched from her touch. It then struggled to move away, its mouth lighting up with light as it called upon an electric shot, straight into the tree next to her. For a few moments, Lexia was glad that it didn't aim that directly at her or it probably would have hurt.
A voice spoke behind her as the bear decided to look at Lexia, bellowing as it charged. She, for now, would wave her hand at the other human and crush one of the blood stones. Instantly, energy pulled together and formed itself into a long lance, which she would hold firmly. There, she would position it to ram into the bears front, its destructive energy almost buzzing as she did so.
It was a sure kill if the bears chest or head would hit it.

The human flinched as the bear went to attack the other human. She was still annoyed that she didn't reply to her, but at the same time it was a bear. But then again, that other human could just die if she was hurting the dragon. Aero was glad she didn't just try to take on the female by herself, the weapon that she had and that fact that she was taking on a bear just meant that she could have easily hurt the dragon in this form, and she was unsure if it was even safe to change here.
Taking her oppertunity with the human distracted she attempted to make her way behind the bear and to the little dragon, forgetting about the other creature that had accompainied the human. If she was successful in making it to the dragon then she'd kneal down, keeping an eye on the fight while trying to calm him. "It's okay, I'm a friend." she growled in attempt to speak in the dragon tongue as a human. It was rough and some sounds didn't come out as properly as she'd like, but she hoped that the little one would still be able to understand. Aero had never actually tried to speak in the dragon langue as a human, but she knew it well enough as a dragon to be able to attempt it.

Shudaar mewled as something else approached him, speaking in a different language, one more familiar, but panic arose in him once again. Little sparks flew up and off him, before a small zap of electricity shot off into a random direction. After that, he was beat and drained, laying pretty still besides little movements, but flaring pain kept him at bay from doing anything.
The bear made no change in its charge, despite the fact a lance was manifested in front of it. Having not seen one before, it completely ignored it and charged Lexia as she was making the most threatening movements, ignoring Shudaar, Aero, and the foenix.

Lexia braced herself moments before the bear impaled itself right into her spear, grunting at the force behind it. She stood fast, forcing herself to drive the spear forward through the back of the skull. The force and damage should have been enough to kill it instantly. Lex would try to force the bear to roll onto its side, dead, before the lance would shrivel into nothing, returning to the void from where it came. Nithya came trotting up to her. "Good boy..." She praised, gently ruffling his head.
She turned to the other human, who was kneeling over the dragon. "I was looking after the little one." Lexia said firmly, answering Aero's question from earlier. "If you're its caretaker, you're lucky its alive. Keep a closer eye on it next time." Lexia stated firmly, unimpressed by the persons attitude.
Lex was skilled in looking after animals, but she wasn't able to offer her help with the other human bent over it, talking to it and trying to calm it down. "Doing that won't help its wing." She muttered, before turning her back to them.
You could have killed them! It would have been easy~! But I'd watch out if I were you~ Dragons are strong, but... well, I'm surprised there aren't as many around as what I remember. But oh well, like it matters! the voice sang, rather gleefully.

Aero braced herself as the dragon sparked again, but the lightning it shot didn't hit her. Again she tried to calm him down- having the dragon be scared wouldn't help anyone. Even with all of the noises her focus didn't break, until they all stopped and the human began to speak. Aero was just going to settle for a threatening glare until she muttering something about his wing. "What do you know about a dragon's wing? If you knew anything then you'd know that you can't just go up to a terrified animal and touch them without getting a reaction, you have to get them to trust you first." The dragon was annoyed at this point, and at the same time just wanted to annoy the human too.
If she didn't react strongly she'd just go back to the dragon, wishing she knew how secretive the area was so that she could change and talk to him better.

Shudaar could hear the bipedal voices above and around him, talking. What they said was too hard for him to focus on and decipher. Panting in rapid shotgun breath, he once again tried to get up, but more or less just wiggled as his right side flared up in agony, prompting him to quickly plop back down. Still hearing the voices, he growled...or mewled in this case, as he tried to shock them again, but he had nothing left to shock them with. Whatever was closest, he tried to bite at.

Lexia sighed. "If you had even been here, he wouldn't have a broken wing in the first place. Don't blame me for your own stupid incompetence and inability to watch out for a young dragon." She replied coldly, before making a tongue click to Nithya. The Foenix recognised the signal and wandered over to them, lowering his form slightly so that Lexia would be able to swing up onto his back.
"Next time I'll let the bear maul him." She spat, pulling away from the snapping baby dragon. "And if you have to know, you irresponsible, self-centred, sorry excuse for a human, I know exactly how to help every single wound of any animal. I'm good like that." Lexia snapped, before patting Nithya's side.
There, they would turn to leave. If either of them attacked, Nithya would dodge the attack, and Lexia would retaliate. In kind.
You should let yourself at them. They don't deserve to live, they are pathetic and weak. Stupid sorry things, they would look better inside-out! the voice chortled. For once, Lexia would agree.

Aero just snorted at her first reply. "I'm actually not his caretaker, I was just trying to protect him from a bunch of other people before he bolted off and I had to follow. It's not like you could do any better." Were all humans so stuck up and acting like they knew everything that was happening around them? She pulled away before the dragon could bite her, and the human made another idiotic reply. "Wouldn't it be great if I was a 'human.' If you know how to treat every single animal wound, even those of almost extinct animals, then why don't you come do it then instead of insulting my with false insults." If only the ignorant human knew what she really was, then maybe she'd be able to send her ugly self running for the hills.

Shudaar became quieter as it just hurt to struggle with movements, as well as just breathing. Taking as shallow of breaths as he could, he laid still on his left side, wishing that stupid fuzzy thing didn't hit him, that he had just stayed in his tree and not gone to look at that funny smelling human, that he wasn't in constant pain...

Lexia raised an eyebrow, turning partially to face her. Nithya would snarl at her, unafraid of the human there. She shrugged. "Then stop trying to shove me away and let me work." Lexia deadpanned. The offer was there to claim. But the only way she would come back and help the small dragon was simple. The female just needed to take a few steps back to allow Lexia to have a little breathing room as she would work on the dragon.
Nithya waited, having paused in his movement to watch Lexia and Aero. He simply waited until he would hear a single click from Lex, to which he would allow her to slide off from his back and tend to the wounded animal.
Lexia smirked, "Trust me. I know how to tend to more animals than even I know half the time. It's logical really."
Noooo! What are you doing? Stop being boring! Go! Go forth and kill them... It'll be yummy~

The dragon crossed her arms at the human and her companion. Huffing she stepped back to give her room, watching over the person like a hawk as she would work. "If you harm the dragon then your wolf-thing won't be able to save you." She growled. One of the only reasons Aero was even letting the human come back to the creature was that she knew how bad a wing injury could be, not from personal experience but from seeing it on other fly creatures common sense. If that dragon couldn't fly, he'd be doomed.

Slender fingers would gently stroke down the mane of the Foenix, who would give a small chirp in acknowledgement, trailed from the neck, leaving their perch on the beast. Nithya warily watched the human as she stood close by. At the threat, Lexia would turn to her, an eyebrow raised as she propped her hand across her hip. "I don't care what you say, alright? In all honesty, if I really wanted, I could kill you right here and now. But, I cannot be bothered, nor do I want to." Lexia said, her voice taking a tone of anger. Daring her to respond.
If Aero decided to say nothing, Lexia would begin to tend to the small dragon. But if she did, Lex would tell her simply to shut up as she would begin to help the baby dragon. She didn't have herbs on her to help heal it and she sighed. She, in annoyance, would raid her bags for supplies, taking out bandages, ointments and a few drugs to use on the dragon. While she did this, she would softly talk to it, trying to calm it down or, at least, get it to stop biting everything near it. If she could, she would gently pat its head, before, very softly, applying one of the ointments to the dragons wing.

There was bickering and loud voices, but they seemed to be directed elsewhere, not at him so Shudaar just growled lowly as he laid still. He closed his eyes for a bit, until he heard a soft voice speaking at him, causing him to growl lowly at the hooman that was coming towards him again. His wing hurt really bad as well as his side, and all he did was growl lowly at the hooman, not expecting it to touch him. At first, he jolted and gave a kick at the air, growling louder and half snapping at the air, but calmed down as the pats were not hits or strikes at him, allowing him to calm down slowly. Still uneasy with the hooman, he did not allow his head to rest on the ground, half glaring at her? with one eye, still blurry. As the ointment touched his broken wing, he bared his teeth at her, hissing as it stung, despite how gentle she was.

Aero just rolled her eyes at her comment. Of course humans think that they can take on a dragon, that's what they all do, and she still had the element of surprise on her side. Standing off to the side she carefully watched as the human worked with the dragon, stiffening as he rebelled against her touch. But she didn't react right away, because even with her threats she knew that healing the little dragon wasn't going to be painless and easy.

Lexia would utter words quietly to the small and scared dragon, her voice deliberately soft and gentle. She didn't even flinch at the dragons kicking and snaps, instead just taking her hand and gently scratching his chin. He assumed it was a he at least. She didn't know for certain and neither did she trust the female before her. Lexia would shake her head slightly as she dragged her thoughts back to the dragon and away from Aero. With a worried hum, she leaned back from her work so far. The wing may be covered with the ointment, but...
Oh dear, it wouldn't like this next move.
Looking around, Lexia took up a few branches and used a bandage to wrap them over her arm. "He's going to hate this, I can only numb the area for so long and it only blocks so much pain. So don't attack me." She told her, before inhaling a little and holding the air in her lungs. Lexia's eyes narrowed as she focused, the fingers finding the break. It was a clean break. Straight through. No sharp edges that she could make out. If the dragon were to bite her while she was doing this, she would twist her arms and allow its teeth to dig into the protective branches.
From there, she would strap the wing down and firmly have the break rejoined, ensuring that she hadn't damaged anything around or in its wing as she worked. Lexia just prayed that it saw she was trying to help, but seeming it was a baby...
That was unlikely.

As the outstretched hand reached towards his maw, Shudaar growled, expecting a blow to jaw and braced for the hit. However, that hit never came. Instead, there was a soft carcass of his chin, followed with light scratches. His growling slowly subsided at the chin rub, calming down to a state where he was not in blind pain, and able to focus his eyes a bit better. Having better vision, he was able to make out Lexia, not quiet a growl coming from him, but neither was it a pleasurable sound. He was very wary, and watched as she tied sticks to her arms. What a strange thing, tying wood to ones body. Hoomans. Silly creatures.
Ear sensors slightly lifting, it took Shudaar a couple seconds to process what she was saying, catching a glimpse of that funny smelling girl from earlier too. Putting two and two together, he realized that he was the only male here, and that he was going to hate something? What could that b-
With a gut-retching yowl, pain exploded along his wing as Lexia felt his break. Everything exploded for him, pain causing him to see stars, blood rushing through his head loudly, drowning out any other sounds. Flailing and kicking, he tried to get away from the pain, but was held firmly down. Out of just instinct, he turned and struck hard against whatever was there, biting down with all his force and teeth out, still trying to break free as his wing was tied to his body. Teeth still latched to whatever he bit in a death grip, trembling uncontrollably at the sudden pain that was still flaring across his wing and back, teeth locked into the object of his bite.
Aero continued to watch the person as she dealt with the dragon, unable to relax as she wanted to be ready to jump in if the female decided it was a good idea to do something other than help the poor dragon. She crossed her arms as the lady continued to work with him, even going far enough to scratch him under the chin. If anyone had the audacity to do that to her she'd bite their hand off. Aero continued to watch, seeing as the lady backed off from the dragon for a second. She knew better than to guess she was done, and when the lady said that he wasn't going to like the next part the dragoness held her arms closer to herself.
She had never broken a wing before, but that doesn't mean she hadn't bruised and cut them before. It sucked when it hurt to even move it, which would then translate to not being able to fly and barely being able to hunt at that. After the woman got back to his wing the dragoness winced, trying to brace herself. Bracing didn't work, and the screeches of pain from the dragon made her gut wrench. Even if she wanted to continue watching and making sure the woman didn't do anything rash to the dragon she couldn't. Aero felt as if it was one of her own wings that was broken, and the thought of that pain was enough to force her to look away and bite down on one of her hands as to not rush and attack the woman. The dragoness wouldn't allow herself to cry from it, even as her body wanted to, she couldn't let the little human have that satisfactory. She just hoped the little dragon wouldn't be scared from this.
And that it would be over soon.

Lexia managed to move her arm slightly, just in time for the teeth to clamp against the branches that she had strapped to her arm. They cracked and almost splintered under the force of the dragons mouth. As the mouth was locked onto the wood, Lexia would push down on it to force the dragons head back down again, trying to keep him stationary to allow her to finish her work with the wing. When she did so, she would have carefully strapped the wing to his body and ensured that he wouldn't be able to move it.
When the dragon would finally release her, Lexia would gently pick it up, her sticky arm at the ready to block anymore little bites and attacks which he would try to do. Lexia then would remember that Aero was there and she turned to her. "I'm going to be taking him home. He will need someone to look after him." She stated, giving Aero an expression which dared her to go against what Lexia just declared.
But it was obvious that nothing would change her mind. She would take Shudaar home with her as she was the only one who would be able to take care of the animal and give it the proper attention it deserved.

Despite the fact that his teeth lodged into wood, his mouth/tongue still tasted the salt from skin, and entered a death grip on the wood. Shudaar's head was shoved to the ground, but his bite did not lessen, while his squirming continued as his wing was worked and blinding pain raced through his body. Time moved very slowly for him, and each second was horrid, even after his wing was strapped down and not moving. Soon, the pain over took him and blackness sunk in, his jaws loosening as he passed out. While his breathing would be ragged at first, it would quickly resume a normal rate as if sleeping, and Shudaar remained limp and unconscious as he was picked up.

Aero was getting to the point where she calmed down enough from the imagination of pain. That poor dragon, she wondered if he had even begun to fly yet. How awful would it be if he never had the chance to fly?
Soon enough the woman spoke again, but the words she said were not the ones that Aero wanted to hear. "You want to take him home now? You're not going to do that," Aero growled. "I can look over him just fine, what are you going to feed him? What about when he's healed, are you going to teach him how to fly?" Her eyes darted down to Shu for a second, a bit of horror and disgust showing on her face. "What did you do to him anyways?"
The dragoness stopped herself from changing and outright attacking the woman- she still had the dragon in her arms and would most likely end up hurting him more if she did attack. Aero decided to be ready in case the woman decided to attack herself, doing what she'd normally do on four legs and crouching down on her two instead, bundling her muscles so she could easily spring away if needed. It might as well look like she was getting ready to attack, only she might as well have attacked already if she was.
Humans were all so annoying. Aero let out a frustrated, unhuman growl. Maybe the woman would end up be reasonable and kindly hand over the baby dragon, but that was a long shot.
