Combat Test [Reactive vs Anti, private]

Genev trotted through the plain, his eyes glancing left and right. He couldn't shake off the feeling of a set of eyes watching him, somehow from all angles possible. He frowned, whirling around immediately when a branch cracked right behind him. He eyed the young man standing before him, stance wary and guarded. He was ready to activate his vision anytime, if that guy was going to attack anytime soon. He balled his gauntlet-clad hands into fists, holding them near his face as he prepared a fighting stance.

Six was waiting in the frozen tundra for his enemy to appear. Soon the person he was hired to take out appeared from the depths of the white maze. He took his position and waited until they were ahead of him to make a move. Unfortunately, he made a branch move when he started to close in, alerting his prey of his presence. To try and keep some sense of surprise, Six kicked the soft snow into the air and spun around the tree in a quick step, straitening his scimitar to cut horizontally at their lower ribs. He would then quickly flow into his next attack, which was a speedy jab at their left shoulder. Once he finished the jab, he pulled his arm back, cutting the branch above him as he retreated to prevent any retaliation from his opponent. As it fell, he used the hilt of his sword to propel it forward. There wasn't a lot of force behind it, but it was enough to redirect it towards his opponent. This would hopefully allow him the opportunity to take cover elsewhere and give himself the element of surprise once again.

Genev immediately activated his spell, effectively slowing down his perception of time. Just in time, he could see a wall of snow rising in slower motion as a scimitar blade pierced through the snow, aiming to slice his lower rib area. Genev leaped backwards quickly just as another jab appeared, attempting to strike at his left shoulder. Genev moved to the right, knocking the blade away with the back of his gauntlet-armored hand. He narrowed his eyes as a branch came sailing his way, from where the other man had pushed it towards him. Genev raised a fist to punch through the branch clearly, and successfully did so. However, he had lost sight of the man. Genev gritted his teeth, backing up and raising his fists, all of his instincts on high alert.

Six had hidden within the branches of one of the many trees, where he watched his enemy from afar. Luckily, the snow was filling in the gaps in-between the trees sharp needles. It seemed that they had activated some magic which allowed their perception of time to be slowed down. If he was going to do any damage, it was going to have to be unexpected. He ripped off a few icicles that had frozen onto the branches above him and found a hole in the branches that was just big enough for him to jump through if he squeezed himself down a little. Utilizing his ability of seventh sight to see through the branches, he aimed at one of the trees across from him and threw the icicles through the hole. As they hit the tree, causing it to rustle as some snow that clung to it to fall to the ground, Six jumped through the small hole, got out his Scimitar and slashed at his target's head.

Genev frowned. Well, his vision wasn't going to help much if he couldn't find his opponent. Where was he? There were only a few places where someone could hide properly: burrow deep under the snow, the twisting branches, or up high in the treetops. He crossed out the snow, because more than likely the snow was not deep enough to even get underneath if you were human-sized, and there probably would be a high chance of stepping on him anyway. His eyes landed on a small opening between the branches, and he thought he could see something rustle in between. Was it the man? Small objects suddenly flew out from the hole, but with his sight Genev could see that they were icicles, but they were aimed towards the... tree behind him? Oh, shit. Genev dove out of the way as a pile of snow fell on where he had been standing. If he hadn't moved, the snow would have blockaded his vision completely, but there was still some fine mist that drifted between him and the hole. He could see the glint of swords flash above him as the man leaped out from the hole to slash at him. Genev twisted his body to the side, just barely evading the slash as he sent a punch of his own directed at the opponent's solar plexus, and if his opponent somehow dodged or blocked this, he would bring up his knee to kick at the man.

Unfortunately, his victim was able to spot his movement using his magic to slow down his perception of time. He landed in the snow with a thud, causing it to mix with the air briefly before falling back to it's home. As soon as he felt the lack of resistance on his sword, he began to look where his foe may be. He quickly spotted him and brought both his hands out to block the punch, one on the hilt and one on the flat side of the blade for more support. He moved his leg out behind him as he turned and bent it as he blocked to help him absorb the force. As his enemy retracted his hand from his punch, he moved up his knee. To avoid this he sprung back the leg that was behind him, bent the knee that was underneath him, and carried the momentum he received from the first motion with his back leg to swing it around towards the lone leg that held up Genev. By the end of this motion, he was facing away from him in a position similar to when you start a race. If he managed successfully trip his foe, he would then unbend the leg that was underneath him to bounce himself upward and turn his other leg back to face his victim, before bringing down his scimitar on his stomach with all of the momentum gained from the bouncing motion.

Genev figured that his enemy would evade both of his attacks; that man was skilled, no doubt. As the man leaped back to avoid Genev's kick and throw out a kick of his own directed at Genev's lone leg, he successfully kicked out Genev's leg from underneath, and Genev hit the ground with a hard thud. Genev had no time to dodge the sword that was coming for his stomach, but he did have time to still.. "evade" it. Genev reached out his left palm directly in front of the sword's point, and a portal opened up on his palm, a wormhole that the sword was going to stab through and out of his other palm. Genev aimed the palm upwards at his opponent so that the sword would go through and out of the other, hopefully stabbing the man in the shoulder.

Six was able to knock down his opponent. He continued onto his next move, thinking this fight was just about won. He then learned that his foe had a trick up thier sleeve. As he turned back to face them, he saw them put thier hands toward him and he could tell from his seveth sight that they were going to make a small portal on each palm. Before his sword could collide with the portal that had now opened, he turned his weapon vaporal so it would cut strait through the portal when they did collide. After this occured, the blade passed strait though his enemy's hand, leaving it unharmed. As it continued to fall, Six was remined of his opponent's ability to slow down anything they toched with thier body. To avoid this, he activated Rouge of the ages, vanishing completly from existance for just one second. He used this time to land without touching his oppnent and roll away. He soon came back into exsistance as he was rolling away. He had made it just far enough to be about arms length away from his oppeonent. He rolled a tad bit farther just to be safe and then tried to get up as fast as possible.
