Combat Test: Aggressive vs Defensive [PRIVATE]

Vyrcetta was running through the plains, giggling as she heard the wind whistle past her. She saw a person approach and her eyes sparked with mischief. She ran towards the person, leaping up whilst still running, causing her to launch high into the air right above them. "Hope you're looking forward to a fun time!" she laughed as she put two hands together, palms toward the person and launched a beam of fire toward them.

Milliardo walked along the plain, careful to avoid the wet mud that surrounded the ponds that randomly dotted the plain. It also seemed to have just recently rained, as the grass still seemed to be pretty wet. "--you're looking for a fun time!" he heard someone yell. What the hell..? He looked up just in time to see a girl right above him, a blast of fire shooting from her palms and directly at him. Quickly acting, Milliardo raised his hand. A stream of water rose up from a nearby pond, and shot right in front of him to block from the incoming fire. Steam rose up just as the two opposing elements clashed, giving Milliardo the perfect oppourtnity to run out of the way.

Vyrce grinned when she saw her opponent's block. "Oh, we're definitely in for a party!" she exclaimed excitedly, shooting out in front of her opponent as she saw him try and escape. "Don't think ya' gettin' away that easily!" she teased, grabbing one of her daggers and running towards him. The dagger was quickly engulfed in a blue flame, practically invisible from far away due to its colouring.

Milliardo frowned, drawing his sword and shield. He braced his shield on his left forearm, holding the sword in his right. Two tendrils of water drifted up to wrap tightly around his sword and shield, drenching both of them in water. Now that it was covered, he could freeze the water and turn it into pure permafrost. The ice upgraded both of his weapons, now making them more resilient to heat and physical damage. As the girl ran closer, he noticed her blade shimmering with a blue flame, almost invisible. Thank goodness he had done this just in case. Raising his shield, he effectively shielded himself against the burning blade, the ice proving effective against guarding the attack. With his free sword hand, he swung the permafrosted sword at the girl, hoping to slice her or at least do damage.

Vyrcetta tried to leap out of the way, but the icy sword caught her ankle just before she could pull her leg up. She landed a little bit further back from her opponent, staggering, gritting her teeth. "You like to play dirty, with ya' unmelting ice yeah?" Then she charged forward again, hoping to feint her opponent, and jumped up, inches away from the shield-wielder. Then she whipped her body around, shooting two streams of fire out from her palms, smirking. "Eat my flames!"

Milliardo didn't have much time to reach as the girl suddenly sped past him, leaping into the air. She's going to do something!, he thought, unsuccessfully able to turn around due to the mud around his feet. He activated his veil prison, but wasn't quite fast enough in creating it, which resulted in his back to be slightly singed. The veil prison successfully blocked off the rest of the fire however, sucking its momentum completely out and leaving steam billowing out due to the contact between water and fire. Milliardo frowned again, shifting his grip on his sword. So this girl had speed and fire on her side? That was a very dangerous combination. He would have to keep his guard up at all costs.

Vyrce saw her fire get enveloped by some sort of watery veil. "Hmph! Face me head on, or are ya' scared?" She started to run around her opponent in a tight circle, her nothing but a blur. After a couple laps, she leapt up high, flying away from the person, before flipping over and grabbing both of her daggers, coated in fire, diving down at the water-bender.

Milliardo did not yet drop his bubble, and opted for the same defense. The girl immediately began running around him in a tight circle, flattening the grass and kicking up dirt and mud in her wake. She suddenly jumped up in the sky, Milliardo squinting to see her through the sunlight and dived down, fast and deadly. She even hadtwo daggers, both coated with flames. Milliardo braced himself. The knives slammed into the veil prison, but the veil prison was able to complete its job. It sucked out all of the girl's momentum, leaving her arms and knives trapped inside the bubble, only a mere inches away from his face. She would have a very difficult time pulling herself out, so in the meanwhile, she was defenseless. Milliardo took this time to summon a large hand made of water from a nearby pond, which snakes its way over to the girl, ready to grab her legs. Simultaneously, Milliardo let the water bubble evaporate. Having had the momentum of her attack sucked out, she would drop like a rock. Milliardo's water hand grasped her ankles and similar to a slingshot, flung her away as far as he could. Sheathing his sword and shield, he immediately left the area, not looking forwards to another fight.
