There are guilds, or you could just post an ad in the OOC section asking for people to be your character's friend.

Hello Ásvör and welcome to TB!

I'm Aero Dynamic, founder of the forum, but you can tell the other staff apart from our name glows. If you ever have any questions or need help with anything then just send a PM our way, and we will try and respond to the best of our abilities! Once you're ready you can head over to character creation and use the character template to make your character. After that it will be approved, most likely by Lexia or Sly, and you'll be able to start roleplaying!

We currently have three guilds, Dragon Storm, Shadow Raiders, and Crimson Legion. I believe that Dragon Storm (DS) isn't taking anymore members as they already have enough, but Shadow Raiders (SR) and Crimson Legion (CL) both are. SR is a guild of mostly assassins, but Keskorie (Also me) is always looking for more people. CL you'd have to ask the leader, but if you are worthy enough they'll help you train up your skills if needed, and are dedicated to protecting Xastristan from giant catastrophes.

Other than that, have your character make friends simply by rping! We have a few characters that live together that aren't in guilds, so your character doesn't need a guild to have friends.
