Combat Testing[PRIVATE]

Rieri was sneaking about the treetops looking for her prey. The vast earth lay ready down below, as if it was waiting for something to happen. She looked down and spotted a human. Trying to get the advantage, she brought out her six metal rods. They let out silent tings as the were powered with electricity and magnetism. She threw them directly at the other person's back, and then leaped to a different tree, hoping that the blades would distract her and that her location could stay secret. She Made Sure to keep two rods with her so that if any direct or physical attacks were made she could defend herself.

Genev currently had his vision activated, with everything around him seeming to move so much slower. He would always activate it when he was alone, especially in some area like the woods. The slight ping of electricity alerted him, and he immediately whirled around to see two metal rods heading straight for his used-to-be-back. With his sight, they were moving much slower than usual, and so he had the time to quickly slide to the side, watching as the metal rods clanged harmlessly against the ground. He spun around in a circle, waiting--watching--, for another attack.

Rieri tried to hold in her amusement. She knew that even when the rods were on the ground that she could control them. She slowly began to move the rods that lay on the ground behind him, creeping towards the human's ankles to bite like little electric snakes. To set up another nice little distraction, she threw a rod the curve, so ti would appear to have been thrown maybe 8 feet to the right of her. She wanted to get close and personal, but not yet. She needed to play more with her advantage, to take them down quickly.

Genev frowned, as another rod went whipping by, 8 feet to his left. He blinked. Was that a distraction? He eyed the place from where it came from, trying to spot any figure, when he suddenly felt a bite on his ankles. He jolted, the pain feeling like an electrical current that just ran through that area of his foot. He looked down, to see two rods biting at his ankles. He quickly kicked them away, his eyes keeping an eye on those two rods but also that other rod that had spiraled in his distance. Everything was still moving in slow motion for him, he would probably be able to dodge them.

Reiri saw the male get struck with her little rods. How confused he seemed to be was one of the most pleasing things she experienced. Wanting to taunt with him more, she launched up in the air the 3 rods that were on the ground, and had them begin to quickly circle him. The distance between the rods and the boy were quickly shrinking as they gained speed. They began sparking intensely, ready to shock and cause pain. Whilst the three little rods were doing their dance, she slowly crept about to another tree, directly to the male's left, and began to charge up her spark ability, which doubled her movement speed and jumping distance.

Genev's eyes scanned the rods. They were slightly sparking and rapidly closing in on him. But his sight allowed him to spot the weaknesses in their gaps. As they circled closer and closer, Genev suddenly ducked under, rolling out from underneath the rods and towards the trees (where the girl be lying in wait bro) and stood back up, brushing himself off. His eyes were fixated on the woods around him, keeping a close eye on them, but every so often he'd glance back at the electrifying rods. He held up his metal gauntlet gloves, probably looking like a scared puppy.

Reiri had her ability fully charged, and her target was in the most vulnerable place possible. This battle proved to be interesting, but not very long. She swiftly ran down the tree and began to throw melee close hand combat at her opponent, using all 6 of her rods to nab, stab, and jab her opponent, if he didn't dodge. She moved quickly, faster, no, far faster than she normally would. After deciding that this ability could run short or end very soon she ran directly across from him, leaving about a 7 foot gap. It was then and their, that she gathered all 6 of her weapons and charged them immensely. They quickly formed to be a missile, and then was projected directly at the boy. Not wanting to stick around to see the results of the battle, she jumped up into a tree using what little strength she had left, hoping that she was cloaked nicely by the bright illusive lights.

Genev weaved in and out of her attacks, while avoiding all of her rods at the same time. He was struck by one rod on the arm, which electrocuted him quite nicely, leaving him slightly wincing in pain. But he carried on weaving and blocking her attacks with his steel gauntlets. He blinked when she suddenly moved away, leaving a 7 feet gap between them. What was she doing? Genev's eyes widened, as he watched her combine all of her rods together and charge them, the energy level spiking through the roof. The 6 rods seemed to meld together, which became a long, thin needle-like missile filled of death and destruction if Genev couldn't avoid this. The female released this at him, and Genev steeled his nerves, facing down the missile of doom. He held his right arm up and out, and a black and blue swirling vortex with a 6 inch circumference formed in the palm of his hand, where the gauntlets left a gap. The other hand went up, to face the female who seemed to be out of breath and exhausted up in a tree. The white lights slightly blinded him, but he was still able to sort of pinpoint her general location. The lightning missile went through his palm, all of it, and there was silence not even for a split second. The missile suddenly shot out from his left hand's palm, where another swirling vortex had formed, right at where he was aiming; the female's general direction. There was an explosion where the missile had landed, and the dust was so thick that Genev couldn't see if he landed a hit or not. He slowly backed up, not wanting to take the chance and left the clearing.
