Brought In to be Broken Out (Private - Lexia)

The dragoness was finally coming to. It felt like any other time she had been waking up in the morning, minus the blaring pain in her head and the unwelcoming smell that didn't smell anything like home. She finally opened her eyes, slowly as the pain from her head began to blare more as she noticed it more. It took a bit for her eyes to stop being blurry, but at the same time it was rather dark in the room so they didn't have to adjust to much light.

Instantly her spines went on end. When she tried to open her mouth she couldn't, and the most she could do was stand up. Her wings were clasped to her sides and even her tail was being held down by what she assumed was holding the rest of her down. The beast could barely move her head to look behind her.

Struggling against the chains did nothing, they were sturdy enough to handle her pulling. If her maw wasn't shut she would have tried to burn then, and if she could have lifted her legs enough she would have attempted to bash them that way.

There was no way out of this.

The dragoness tried to think back to how she got here, closing her eyes so she could concentrate on remembering rather than on the gray walls around her. She remembered the forest, green and full of tall trees. Chasing after something, a brown creature and a black one, accompanied by a human. The human. Her eyes flew open in shock and anger, hinted with a bit of fear. It had... tricked her. Forced her to change and distracted her from its little dog companion, when then sneakily attacked her before the human finished her.

And now she was trapped, and Aero could only guess by who.

Lexia only felt a tiny bit bad for what she had done to the dragon. The wretch deserve it, but maybe, just maybe, it had learned a lesson or two. Perhaps it would be kinder to others. Mind you, Lexia doubted that it'd ever see the light of day again. Even through her anger, Lex knew that she wasn't going to be able to just let them take the dragon away. Instead, she patiently waited, her foot tapping against the floor, for the payments to clear.

Guards, at least thirty of them, were gathered around the outside of the rather large box-shaped vehicle. There were another five or so more qualified people with her, which took the total count up to thirty five. If Sly were with her, she wouldn't have batted an eye with how many people there were and just dove straight into her plan. But, seeming Nithya was with Shudaar, and Lexia was going to be alone for the first section of this... She had to be careful.

"The payment has gone through, thank you for your time and service to the country. You have done us all a favour by capturing this beast." A female officer spoke with a nod, turning her device to show the 200,000 credit bounty had been paid directly into her account. Lexia held a hand out and was passed the device. Her finger scrolled through, double checking everything to make sure they hadn't scammed her. As all the details were correct, Lexia returned the device. "I would like to request that I see the prisoner one last time before she's put behind bars."

The offices were taken aback by the request. No one had the guts to even look at the captive after they had handed them in and claimed the bounty. But there was a first time for everything, right? The five escorted her to the cage, where they would unlock the door and flick it open. The outside light would flood the room for a few moments, before Lexia would step into the place. Then darkness returned as they shut her in, not allowing the dragon to even have a thought of attempting to escape.

Lexia's eyes took a few moments of blinking to adjust to the darkness around her, before she slowly started to walk to the chained beast. She would walk up to the dragons head, ever so slowly she would take off her long, black glove across her hand. The blood stones glowed with their potential power and Lexia used them as a half light. The only sounds which were made were her shoes clicking against the ground and the breathing and occasional movements of the dragon. If she were moving..

The creatures head was bound and Lexia carefully placed a hand on its muzzle. "Be quiet, I'm getting you out." Was the only thing she would say, before taking a step back. Her fingers shattered a blood stone, the inky darkness creating one of her spear like creations. She held it fast, ensuring that it wasn't going to face. "I won't hesitate to kill you if you alert them to this." She mumbled quietly, before using the spear to slice through the metal binding her head to the ground. After that, she would carefully slice the chains away from the dragons muzzle, catching them before they hit the ground.

After a few more unsuccessful attempts to break free the dragonna decided not to waste her enter your on breaking out. She lowered herself back to the ground, hoping to be able to get a bit of sleep before her captors did what they wanted to her. Her mind kept flickering between being angry and being sad, fear for what was going to happen barely crossed her mind.

Until a door opened an a figure came in. Before the door even shut and allowed her eyes to focus on the figure, Aero knew who it was by scent. She wanted to be angry and take out her rage on the tiny human but she knew better. The dragoness was defenseless right now, and the human had taken her out without barely breakingredients a sweat. Even against her prideful demeanor she knew her eyes showed fear.

Aero moved against her chains in an attempt to get as far away from the human as the chains would let her. It wasn't far, she was practically kept in one place apart from her leaning. She froze when the human came in front of her and put her hand out, although the creature was almost in her blind spot. Aero could only guess that the human was able to hear her heart pounding in her chest.

The reaction for the human was not what the dragon had expected. She gently placed her hand on the dragoness muzzle and said what could only be the complete opposite of what the dragon could have even guessed.

Even with her words of escape Aero still had doubt, although she held still when the human had a weapon and sliced through the metal. She was astound at the fact that she could do that so easily, but it also made her a bigger threat. The human then cut off the thing that made it so she couldn't open her mouth. If she wasn't as shocked or scared she would have opened her mouth, glad to have the motion back, but the human could take it as a threat.

Instead she turned to the opposite way of the human, biting the chains that held her leg to the ground. The dragon wouldn't be as fast as the spear, but she could feel the chains begin to crack under her teeth. Maybe she could help the human and get out of here faster, but there was still a question in the back of her mind that she wanted to ask.

Why was the human helping her in the first place?

"There are about thirty five guards outside. I will break you out the back, but I'll need you to help me clear them out. Take the people on the right side first." Lexia instructed carefully, taking her spear around to each of the dragons restraints and easily slicing through them. Every chain she would catch and quickly lower to the ground, ensuring that they had little to no noise made from the movements. By the time Aero would break the first chain, the rest would be free from Aero, as well as the metallic clasps that bound her limbs together. Lexia carefully watched the dragon, trying to make sure that it wasn't one that was going to just bite her in half.

Lexia glanced up at the walls, her form quickly moving across the ground for her hands to stroke against the metal. They had so much here it wasn't funny! If a dragon could eat metal, it'd have a older full time here eating away at everything. Mind  you, there wasn't anything like that which Lexia could remember from all the lessons she had had. But neither was there one about an arrogant black dragon with those white horns and spines.

Lexias fingers lightly tapped the metal, before nodding. She gestured for Aero to come a bit closer and for her to be ready to basically leave. Then she plunged the lance into the wall, her hand twisting and moving rapidly to cut a section of steel away for Aero to fit through. But before she could complete it, Lexia winced and withdrew her lance. Outside, she knew that there was a secondary patrol going across the back of the cage as she had memorised their movements. In another few minutes, another group would come around and check to make sure that there was no visible damage to the hull of the metal contraption.

After she was certain that the people had left, Lexia's spear broke through the hull again and she quickly moved it, freeing a large section of steel. After the work was done, the spear began to fade and Lexia let it go, watching it vanish into smoke. She looked back up to Aero, "When you are ready, I'll hit this down. There will be people you need to kill instantly, but also some you will need to trust me to get rid of. You should know that that spear would have killed you if I wanted it to, but that isn't exactly what I want. I'd appreciate the favour of you not trying to kill me. Are you ready? Lexia asked, her hand ready to push the metal down. At Aeros nod, she would. The steel would clatter to the ground, three men at a distance would turn and shout an alarm if Aero didn't silence them. And the three that would inspect the cage, Lexia would deal with by breaking another stone and throwing a volley of void daggers into them.

The chain eventually snapped, and she had already lifted her wings from her body to make sure they still worked. She knew better than to stretch them out all the way, and tucked them back at her sides. The dragon watched the human as she went to one of the walls. Soon enough she signaled for her to follow, and the dragon did so. Normally, Aero would have said something, but she was silent this whole time. The shock of being beaten so easily by a human and trapped was still with her, and the fact that said human was now helping her wasn't easing it.

She listened as Lexia spoke, her maw still sealed shut. The dragon was beginning to hate this feeling of fear- fear of failing a human. It was disgusting. But she nodded anyways. At the first sign of light, Aero jumped out, two men under her powerful claws while the other got crushed in her maw. She turned, looking back at the human and looking for others as well. It wouldn't take long for them to come at this rate, but she was ready to take them all on.
